black & white v. vs. color v.
« on: July 10, 2004, 01:22:53 AM »
it was pointed out on another topic that vicki was really "spunky" during the show's early days.savvier too.i began to notice a distinct change in vicki as soon as the show went to color.almost to the episode.her voice gets slightly breathier, her manner more perplexed, she becomes less inquisitive and self-assured and slowly evolves into a much ditzier character(but one i still adore).during the black & white eps. she's way more on the ball. :P

I agree she definitely was a lot sassier during the B&Ws. I'm watching the pre-Barnabas eps now and....
She just hinted in a very unsubtle way with plenty of attitude that perhaps since Roger wasn't home, that maybe he was in the car that just tried to run her down.  I loved the look that Liz gave her as she let that comment slide by without answering.
Wasn't A.M. going thru motherhood maternity when the color eps transitioned.......maybe a factor in her mannerisms, or her ability to play Ms. Winters
" When I gave Davey Collins the crystal ball I hoped he would see that I was his real father, and not that abusive Roger Collins!

Only Laura knows the truth regarding Davids paternity, and i am sure she remembers the back seat of that car Roger crashed.

no.alexandra became pregnant much later than the color transition.the show transitioned in the summer if 1967 and alex left the series in the late fall of 1968 when she did become pregnant.
