Went to see this over the weekend and quite enjoyed it. Not a soul shatterer, but consistently funny, observant and touching in parts.
Donovan is wonderfully believable as a Christian teacher who likes to throw around street lingo to connect with the kids. Very funny.
And a nice surprise in the opening titles, when I read the Director of Photography's name; fellow NYU alum (though we're about a decade apart) Bobby Bukowski shot Saved as well as the DARK SHADOWS 2004 pilot. Small world.
