It turned out to be one of the ones when Joan is blonde.  I think I've only seen her blonde one time, but I can't remember what that one was.  The movie wasn't too great, but it was fun to see her.

one thing of many that i love about her is she did a Roger Corman film! i think it was "The Fast & the Furious' written and directed by Corman in (1954) that's one i haven't seen yet to be fair so i dunno how good or bad it is. but i love the fact she was in a film by my favorite Producer of all time.

I wonder if the original film mentioned was early 1930s.  I think Joan went brunette fairly early on in her career.

A friend loaned me his DVD of SUSPIRIA which I have never seen all the way through.  It was Joan's last feature film.  Her final appearance before the cameras, so far as I am aware, was "This House Possessed," a 1983 TV film with Parker Stevenson.  It was a real shock to see Joan playing a half-mad bag lady wheeling a shopping cart around town in that one.

Best, G.

Gothick, I Met My Love Again was 1938.  I wish I could remember what the other one was when I saw her as a blonde.  I think it was set in France.
