New Makeup artist?
« on: November 21, 2003, 05:39:49 AM »
Over the last few episodes, it seems they either went with a new design or an entirely new makeup artist came on board --both Lara and Grayson's eye makeup has been very lovely . .gone is the eyeliner drawn out to their ears. . .

Make-up fashions changed pretty drastically from 1966 to 1971.  Guess someone just decided it was time to catch up to the newer styles...out with the Mary Quant...in with the Cover Girl!!

I had been noticing the same thing, especially on Julia. Her eyes use to look so tired all the time, but lately they look lovely! Without the excess eyeliner her eyes also look so much larger & brighter than before.

Yes, I think fashion and makeup styles were aiming for a more natural look sometime around 1970.  Gone are the 5 ounces of eyemakeup, heavy black eyeliner and day glo eye shadows of the 60s.  It is a welcome change!

Good observation, Julia99.
