Does Watching DS Promote Satanic Worship?

Of course not(though every time I watch an episode I have to fight my urges to sacrifice chickens at the altar!!)

But seriously, hearing that misguided fool Pat Robertson urge his followers not to celebrate Halloween as a way of avoiding Hell, reminded me of the time Christian Missionaries were posted out in front of my high school in 1970.(Brooklyn, NY)

Their message was "give up Dark Shadows-- or BURN!!!" One said that DS had done more to promote Satanism
than anything else in the 1960s!! For real!

Now, where are those chickens?!

Well, my sister's husband did not want their son going to a DS Festival with me because he was convinced that the DS Fests were a recruiting tool for a satanic cult...

I know for a fact that it does promote satanism.  Growing up watching it, my mother would pass through the living room and always say:  "What the hell are you watching now?"

Not that Scary, Jen.

Pat has his little robots who hang on his every word, but when he ran for Prez, he only got 4% of the vote!

Not a good showing!

LOL!!  Well, I guess then that my whole family is going down together because both my parents, who are in their 80's now, both love & watch the show faithfully with me everynight!!

Gerard, that was too funny!

Isn't it awful how some people think? My twin nieces were so scared to go trick or treating this year because some woman in their church told them that if they went, they'd be devil worshippers and go straight to hell!  I had such a long talk with them and told them they weren't doing anything wrong and that Halloween isn't evil so don't listen to anyone.
