Mr. Trask seems to be so in love with dear Roxann Drew, but is it true devotion for her or rather...
is it out of spite for Barnabas?  ???

I could be wrong but it seems to me that Lamar had a thing for Roxanne long before Barnabas showed up.

BTW, what's with the extreme makeup the different Trask characters always wear.  This Trask wears such dark eyeliner and I don't believe that men wore makeup in the 1840's did they?  My guess is that it's Dan Curtis' way of showing us who the bad guys are in this storyline, they're the ones with the dark makeup.

I also wish Dan Curtis would have used Jerry Lacy more often in something other than the Trask roles.  Trask obviously must have been a popular character or there wouldn't have been one every time they went back in time.  I think Mr. Lacy is a fine actor and I wonder why he wasn't used more often.

:D "Well I am not sure if men wore make up back then or not."

But Trask sure likes to put it on thick "lol" now he must darken his hair a little. ;) lol!

I think the only other role that SHE ever played on the show other than Task roles was attorney at one time.
And yes, SHE is quite an actor.

I think that one reason why Mr.  Lacy may have not been used so much is that I think that he did not have a contract with the show - or, at least, he did not have a contract during all the time that he began playing Tony and the time of the show's cancellation.

During part of the time that Dark Shadows was running, Mr. Lacy played Simon Gilbey on As the World Turns.     Also, I have read that he had a very brief role on The Secret Storm, and that may have been during the time that Dark Shadows was running.   (I am sure about the As the World Turns role being during the time that he was on Dark Shadows, but I am not sure about the role on The Secret Storm.)

It was during the time that the Parallel Time was airing that Mr. Lacy was playing Simon Gilbey.

(By the way, Clarice Blackburn played Mary Lou Northcoate on The Secret Storm during her time on Dark Shadows.    It was during Parallel Time, and, after her role had ended on The Secret Storm, she played Mrs. Johnson in the 1995 storyline.   Also, John Karlen played a major role on Love Is a Many Splendored Thing during the time that Willie was supposed to be in the mental hospital.)
