Diminishing Montage

We get a bloodbath at the end of every storyline.  Sometimes I think this is the worst, but as the others come along, they have a lot too, so I'm not sure.

Anyway, today's montage with only "who's left" is really quite startling!!

We always know when a storyline is coming to a close because suddenly everyone is rapidly being killed off.

I didn't think 1897 was too bad though. At least more of the family members were still around at the end of that story.

1795 was pretty bad with everyone dying off quickly with the only two left alive were Natalie & Joshua.

It would be nice once in awhile to at least have some of them living "happy ever after" instead of the one & two residents that are usually left.

If you think about it honey...this is Barn's 'raison d'etre'; he's always, ALWAYS trying to 'save' the Collins'.

Probable guilt (if he hadn't taken up with 'that woman from Martinique', his curse wouldn't have started, leading to Naomi's suicide, his father's total can't think of right word), some of Millicent's coo-cooness, yada yada.

(But, unbeknowst to Barn, there was already trouble's a brewing;
the whole Judah thing pre-dates Barn.
)

But, really, everyone in RT 1970 is okay (not perfect, but okay).
