Just a few quick thoughts. .the green, well normally i wouldn't approve but i think the green Julia dress looks to be a flattering cut, look folks Julia has hips and a waist!  But the necklace! OH MY GOD!! My Mom had one just like it (she was --what 23 at this time?) and I loved it!  She kept it for years and I'd put it on when i played dress up . .I WAS DR JULIA HOFFMAN as a 7 year old. . or Victoria Barkley .. with my 4" Teddy Bear playing Jerod or Heath, my hot sons whom i coveted  ..bad .. when i was 8. . .  AND then finally. . Grayson actually has arms!  Hoffman's outfit is short sleeved. . wow! a DS first!

okay back to normality. . or non-Julia99 time  :-*

Hey Julia, I have to wonder whether Grayson demanded sleeves on the housekeeper's uniform dress.  It's very odd that it was short sleeved that one day.  I thought she looked better that way, as well.  She may have felt that her arms were too skinny.

I also liked the necklace.  It suited her.

She probably thought her arms were too white and she'd had enough of the makeup all over her body with Magda .. she wasn't about to pancake her arms every day too.  Plus she's a skinny gal, I bet she was perpetually cold.

I noticed in Polly Maggoo where one of her wild outfits is short sleeved that her arms were pretty muscular .. .just from swimming?  :P

I think that it's the same dress, but the long sleeves are actually a little jacket that goes with the short-sleeved dress. Maybe she felt it was not dignified for a housekeeper to be showing her arms.

Can I make a non-Julia fashion observation?  ;)

I just want to give a big shout out for Alexis' houndstooth checked scarf. I am a houndstooth check junkie.  [nut]
