Interesting choices. But can you really make a list of the strangest TV shows without including My Mother, the Car? The title alone is enough to include it!

An interesting sideline.  Jerry Van Dyke was offered the role of Gilligan on another pilot in production but turned it down because he thought that series would go nowhere, and figured that MMtC, also in pilot production, would become a hit.

LOST was a colossal let down in the end for me.  I heard my friends pump it up and let them tell me certain [spoiler]things but I hated that a lot was left up in the air. [/spoiler]

I watched CARNIVALE but it was like it went nowhere?  OMG..I was actually relieved when it was cancelled!
