Bramwell scores one over Morgan in being pleased about the Collins-in-the-oven, but does anybody think he'd be any better a father than Morgan would? Aside, that is, from the fact that Morgan would insist that the kid, if it's a boy, take part in the lottery once he's old enough. Incidentally, Bramwell should be jumping with joy that Catherine plans to raise the kid as Bramwell's child. If it's a boy (always if it's a boy) and outlives Morgan, Bramwell's descendants will be Masters of Collinwood.
Strangely enough, although Quentin seemed VERY interested in Daphne, he didn't react at all when she up and married Bramwell. What's wrong with this picture???
Daphne showed that she didn't have the potential to be a Collins team player when she demanded of Quentin that Catherine be excused from the lottery. I daresay Quentin immediately blotted her out of his little black book.
OK. When we held the lottery last time, we had one mad person at Collinwood. After Gabriel's brief stay in the Room, that number was doubled to two. Now the lottery has been held again, and the pregnant Catherine has been chosen. I predict (you can imagine me with the magic music playing) that Catherine will come out of the Room mad, and her baby, when it is born, will turn out to be mad, which means that the number of mad people at Collinwood will have doubled to four - assuming that Gabriel is still alive, as of course he will be because Gabriel is too much fun to be killed off yet. Proceeding along these lines, it seems safe to assume that if the lottery is held again - as of course it will be, because I'm sure it's great for the ratings - the results will be another doubling of Crazy Collinwooders, for a total of eight. I can't wait!
