OT - Death of Ingrid Pitt

This news may be in keeping with the spirit, though not the letter, of the guidelines for posting celebrity obituaries. Ingrid Pitt died two days before Thanksgiving, in London. I believe she has been mentioned in passing on this forum, both regarding her brief appearance in the classic "The Wicker Man," and in two vampire movies, "Vampire Lovers" and "Countess Dracula." "Vampire Lovers," directed by Roy Ward Baker, released in 1970, is loosely adapted from the vampire novella "Carmilla" by Joseph Sheridan LeFanu.

She was also in House that Dripped Blood, a Peter Cushing/Chris Lee movie. She worked with Lee in Wicker Man & with Cushing in Vampire Lovers.
She was born in Poland in 1937, had a Jewish Mom & survived the greatest real life horror of all: The Holocaust.
I'm glad someone posted about Ingrid here.
RIP Dear Lady.

I remember that movie The House That Dripped Blood, i don't re-call the lady's name but may her soul rest in peace.
Love Anne

Met her at Chiller Theatre. Always gracious and great with fans. And she looked fantastic. She will be missed
