Dear VAM,

Regarding my rash suggestion of the pairing of the long-suffering Maggie Evans and the temperamental Jeff Clark, all I have to say is:

Mea culpa, Mea culpa, Mea maxima culpa!

this was all just a bizarre coincidence within 6 weeks...

How neat! I went to Lyndhurst a couple of times, would like to go to Newport to see Salve Regina, also would like to go to Maine again someday. I was born there.   :)

Hey Cassandra...
You live in Yonkers?  I grew up across the river in Englewood Cliffs - a few minutes from the GWB.  Small world, no?  LOL
When I was a kid, when the family would go on Sunday drives, we always used to end up in Yonkers.  My father would drive around the different neighborhoods he grew up in and point out places he lived.  Then he'd take us to Van Cortland Park and shoot home movies.  (Huh??)  LOL

yup, I've lived here all my life. Both my parents grew up here also.   Where abouts did your dad grow up?  If you tell me off of Broadway or near Yonkers Raceway, then I'll really believe it's a small world!
As for Van Cortlandt Pk, I remember going there alot when I was a teen, although not to take home movies. ;)

I could just picture Jeff Clark driving a cab in New York City, yelling and honking at everybody to get out of his way. He wouldn't last one day. It would be a hair grabbing experience indeed!

LOL, I agree he wouldn't last long. And I definitely could see him yelling and screaming, throwing tantrums, and pulling his hair out.
He'd be bald by the end of the week.  ;D

In that case, I hope he has a can of spray on hair.  ;D

;D  Maybe he can get a toupee in case he goes bald? Unless he has a mega size can of hairspray.

Hey gang,

If Jeff started going the way of Roger Collins in the "sweeps" department, he could start using that GLH hair spray restorer, that the ubiquitous Ron Popeil is always hawking on those thirty minute info-mercials on the boob tube.

By the way, my all-time favorite info-mercial is that one with Kathlie Lee Gefford and her hubby, Frank, in which they  promote their video, "How To Have A Perfect Marriage" (just like Kathie Lee and Frank!)

You see Kathie babbling away on this talk show-like set with some psychologist about how to have a happy marriage, while Frank seems to stare blankly into space.  (I got the impression that Frank was daydreaming about being in that hotel room with that zaftic stewardess while the they were taping him!)  Oh, what would little Cody think about all of this?

I remember that yucky greasy stuff, my dad and brothers put it on their hair in the 60's.
