Dear, sweet Angelique. Now that she believes that Quentin murdered her, she's not content with revenge on him. Oh, no indeed, she's got to destroy the whole Collins family. Gosh, doesn't that have a familiar ring? But she would be furious at the thought of being compared to Adam.
Barnabas, meanwhile, is sure that Quentin did not kill Angelique. Why? In his position I wouldn't be at all sure, but that's Barnabas for you - always making these guesses about people so that the writers can get the plot where they want it. Heads it's plot-pushing, tails it's character consistency - but would Barnabas act any differently if he believed that Quentin had killed Angelique? Or would he decide that it was justifiable homicide because a) this Angelique looks like the Angelique he has hated for so long, and b) this Angelique is bad in her own right?
Barnabas also believes that Maggie is being manipulated by Angelique, and he is correct in this - but, again, golly he's sure of himself!
Lots of sweet scenes between Barnabas and Julia today, with the two of them close to each other both physically and emotionally. That's always a bad sign. Just as Barnabas went off the deep end over Kitty Hampshire right after he and Julia did some mutual lifesaving (no mouth-to-mouth resuscitation involved, alas!), so we can expect him to go off the deep end now over somebody or other. Maggie's still alive, so we can't bring in another Josette clone - though, come to think of it, Maggie's sister Jennifer could come to visit and turn out to be an identical twin. Which reminds me of a question that's been bugging me: if Angelique and Alexis were part of a trio of triplets, what would the third Stokes stepdaughter be like?
