OT: Penny Dreadful is Back In Black for Autumn

For those who might be interested in our odd little TV show...

Here are a couple of clips from the new season of my hosted horror movie program 'Penny Dreadful's Shilling Shockers' which airs in a number of cities and towns throughout New England in the US.

The first four episodes consist of a storyline where I start aging into an old hag and must find the ingredients for my elixir of youth before I shuffle off this mortal coil.  The ingredients, of corpse, are tied into whichever movie is being shown that week.  The last three shows of the season are stand-alone episodes.  Films this time around include 'The Bat' starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead, 'The Screaming Skull,' 'Crypt of the Living Dead' and
many more.

Great videos, PD. Shilling Shockers just keeps getting better and better - I love the mix of macabre and humor. The show and you deserve all the success you're getting. (And to the Barnabas poster.  )

Rawk!  what a deliciously ELDRITCH brew you concoct... and the humor is so delightfully reminiscent of our beloved Horror Host/esses of Yore!

Love the Barnabas portrait in the Uncle Chester sequence, too!  You know how to warm the cockles of an old Fan's heart!

The invocation of Lilith actually reminded me of some of our own Angelique's more fervent incantations...

Best of Luck with the new season!  Wow, and there are DVDs too.  Must go see!

Here's a sneak peek at a piece done by former Disney animator, DS fan, and all-around talented artist Richard Green (http://www.myspace.com/classiccreatures).  Awhile back Richard offered to do an art piece for me and I suggested a mad monster party thrown by my tenebrous self.  He liked the idea and asked for a list of characters to include.  He used many of my suggestions and threw in lots of his own characters as well.  He sent me this version awhile back but says it isn't the finished piece.
