FYI..I already made reservations for the Renaissance Hotel in Elizabeth New Jersey. August 15th I believe.  Bad timing though as the new school year/teaching starts.  Oh well its now or never for me as my family may not want me to drag them next year.  Got all the info from Marie Wallace's website (thank God for Marie's Website.) I think I also picked up info from JF's website too.  In any case, marie's has all the stuff on the festival.

collinwood.net always has the latest news as well. Interesting that the announcement at the DS Festival website indicated that ShadowGram is planning to have its own website in the near future.

Don't know if this was posted here already but the site reflects that the banquet is now sold out.

NOOOO!  And I was going to mail my reservation for the banquet this week!  Does anyone know if there is a chance for standby admissions if there are cancellations?  This is unfair!  And I've already reserved a hotel room!

Charles I am not even sure if there was an official announcement that the banquet had sold out. Writing the words in red "sold out" over the banquet posting at the Festival site to me is not an official announcement but in either event that seems to be the case. I hope that there will be a number of available tickets for the banquet at the Fest.

--- The Fest asks SG to announce:

"We have sold out of available banquet seats in the main ballroom, but we are able to offer seating for the banquet in a smaller adjacent ballroom, together with the personalized autographed photograph of Jonathan Frid as Barnabas. After the dinner you will join us in the main ballroom for all the post-banquet events.

"The cost is $60 per person. If you wish to participate under these circumstances, please print out the membership form and send it with your payment. Please state on the form that you are paying for seating in the adjacent ballroom."

Now, speaking of the official website...has anyone noticed that they list the hotel's address# as 100 when Marriott lists the address as 1000...???

Ah.  That's a mistake on the ShadowGram site that I see was repeated in their email updates.  The official DSFestival website got it right.
