Barnabas became terribly angry with Maggie after she commented on how unspeakably ugly the portrait in her bedroom was!!

   Whoa - that would certainly set him off.    But considering that Maggie is supposed to strongly resemble Josette's portrait, psychiatrists could have a field day over what it says about her own self perception.
