Election week poll: Roger Collins' political pulse.

Roger Collins: Country Club Republican or Limousine Liberal?  (It's sort of like one of those other imponderable mysteries of life, like William Shatner's coiffure: Is it real or is it a squirrel on top of his head?)

My own sense of it would be that Roger would at least claim to be a fiscal conservative and vote accordingly, preferring a man of "proven worth" to an "unknown academic who happens to be quite charming".  But although snide and arrogant, I don't see him as much of a social conservative, taking much more of a "live and let live" attitude while feeling perfectly free to make fun of people doing what he viewed as pointless/silly things.  Or not.  So I think he'd've gone for McCain.

Roger would endorse any candidate promising to stop taxing liquor.  I think Uncle Quentin would agree.
