I think poor Adam should also have a grocery list of his own. Maybe he could use these:
A stack of picture books to look at (perhaps he can learn more from them than he is with Barnabas, Julia & Willie)
A few new cassettes to play (so we don't have to listen to that "if both live" message over & over again)
Perhaps some non-perishable foods ( so he wouldn't have to wait all day for Willie to bring him those two small chicken legs or that measly bowl of soup)
How about a sewing kit? (minus the needles & pins of course) this way he can look at all the "shiny buttons" he wants without tearing them off everyone else's clothing.
Poor Adam, I don't even think they leave him a pitcher of water down there!
