Do my ears deceive me or did Addison Powell record that message multiple times? When we saw Lang recording it, he truly sounded as though he was dying. He was barely able to talk. Then there was a time in the cell at the Old House when Adam listened to it, when Lang sounded healthier. The words came out more smoothly. When we heard the message today, Lang didn't sound healthy, but he was shouting out the message. That's three different recordings, I'm sure. Dan Curtis is such a big spender!
I got very annoyed watching Carolyn try to break down that cellar door today. She was banging on two different panels. She should have taken that rock with which she almost hit Adam, and used it to work on just one of the panels. And here's my big question: Would Vicky have been any smarter in that situation?
Why do liars insist on changing their stories? If Barnabas had continued to stonewall Sheriff Patterson, he would have been far more convincing. Of course, if he had known a little Turkish, it would have been even better. "Adam" is Turkish for "man", so all Barnabas had to do was to tell Patterson that Willie was of Turkish descent and when Willie said "That Adam" he meant "That man" - and the worst problem would have been solved. As for saying "Barnabas" - well, gosh, surely there's a language somewhere in which "Barnabas" means "man".
