David Selby's new book, Lincoln's Better Angel, is now available directly from the publisher, Mayhaven Publishing. This is a novelization of material he originally explored in the play Lincoln and James.

The complete first season of his HBO series, Tell Me You Love Me, will be available on DVD in February 2008. (Click here to pre-order it from Amazon.) The series was recently named one of the top ten of 2007 by the American Film Institute.

Just a quick note for anyone interested in David Selby's new novel, Lincoln's Better Angel. You can order it from Barnes & Noble for less than what it costs to purchase it directly from the publisher. (Selby's official site links to the publisher's site. The book is not currently available from Amazon.)

My understanding -- and I should stress here that I have no inside information beyond what's been floating around on the net -- is that the second season was being written as the writers' strike began and that no episodes had actually been filmed.
