Joan Bennett seemed to have trouble with slapping Jerry Lacy today.  It didn't look real, and she bungled her lines before and after it.

I used to feel bad for Trask when Barnabas went after him.  I don't anymore.  Trask has fallen from grace, and when he called upon the Almighty as he was being terrorized, I thought to myself: "You're not on speaking terms with the Almighty anymore!"

The skeleton's head in the mirror was a beautifully done image, I thought.

I love the fireplace in Trask's room.  All that brick, and the ledge to sit on, and the fire irons and the bellows (bellows? is that the right word?), and I think there's a bedwarmer. But I keep wondering: "Why did the innkeeper make Trask sleep in the kitchen?"  Because that looks like a kitchen set-up to me.  The smaller opening to the right of the main fireplace is surely an oven.  But maybe it's the 1795 version of having a microwave oven in your hotel room.

So this is the beginning of the end for Trask! [santa_wink] It sure was scary to hear Barnabas' voice, the screams, the chains, and the skeleton head.  [santa_shocked] But Barnabas' hand looked so fake! [santa_smiley] It actually reminded me of the hand of Count Petofi in the 1897 storyline! [santa_grin]

I loved it when Naomi slapped Trask and gave him a piece of her mind! Hooray, Naomi!  [santa_thumb]

I thought Barnabas and Ben were foolish when they spoke outside the basement door, where Trask could hear them. [santa_lipsrsealed]

Trask is getting awfully suspicious, demanding to know who Ben was talking to, and then saying he hopes he wasn't communicating with the witch.

Trask deserves to get a taste of his own medicine, and I applaud Barnabas for taking the opportunity to give it to him!  [santa_cool]
