I keep waiting for the standard 1795 voiceover, cut-and-pasted from one day's script to the next, but they haven't gotten to it yet.
Today's episode showed the last completely happy moments of Barnabas and Josette. They were beautiful and sad to watch, when you know what's coming.
Good old Angelique, always overdramatic. Why did she waste her time with the skull-with-wig business? Granted, we don't have definite confirmation that she did it (unless I missed something), but her overreactions in the drawing room made it clear. I believed Ben when he said that he didn't know anything about it, so she must have delivered it herself. She got away with it, but it was a silly and unnecessary risk to take.
Josette's portrait was in Josette's room, though it shouldn't have been and the crew knew it. It was carefully unlit, and most of the time the face wasn't shown. We know it could be moved because it was originally in the drawing room. Was the problem that they couldn't find anything else appropriate for the space over the fireplace in Josette's room?
