How amazing that they chose that name!  I know there is a St. Barnabas, but I don't know anything about him.  I wonder if that's why they used it.

There's a Christian outreach in my area named after him-- it's in the cutest little yellow house with a white picket fence and I couldn't miss the name "Barnabas" across the front.  This ministry, and many others, are named after the Barnabas from the Bible.  The Apostles gave him the name, which means "encourager," because he inspired hope in others by his kindness and generosity.  Yeah, I went to Catholic school.   [hall2_wink]
