The Pen refers to the pen that plays such a central role in the Bill Malloy's mysterious death storyline:

And I have to say that for me an appearance by THE Pen would be quite interesting.  :D  And I'm very glad to see that it's leading in the poll.  [thumbleft]  Though, sadly, more than likely the "special guest" is a person. And as far as DS actors go, the most exciting would be to see someone like Henesy, Isles, or Kate Jackson - someone who's never been to a Fest. Almost anyone else will be a big [b071] and a huge [sleep].

Thanks, for the answer, everyday I'm around I do learn more. Now Jonathan would be interesting but I don't think that he will come.  I am still waiting for the DVD of the 40th

Donna McKechnie is missing from the poll. Sheenasma will be distraught.  ;D

Well, considering how far ahead THE Pen appears to be pulling (currently more than three times as many votes as second place - and twice the votes of all the other choices combined), it would certainly seem as if no mere mortal can hope to compete.  :D

True, and, as you have noted elsewhere, we have a couple of years yet before the 40th anniversary of Amanda Harris.  ;)

I'm going with the Pen too.  In fact, I think we should campaign for it with T-Shirts and buttons.  ;D
