Went back to work for half a day today; feeling better but still not 100%. However, my partner at the office gave me a 32-ounce barrel of Heineken for my present, so I'll party with it Friday night. ;)

Thanks for all the nice wishes!

Happy happy, Nicole. :)

Thanks, y'all. Had a damn respiratory bug since the weekend, so all I've been doing is sleeping, pretty much. Compared to dealing with some of the crap at the office, that -is- a happy birthday. ;)

don't think I've forgotten how "smitten" you declared yourself to be with Midnite and myself back in February 2003.
That's going to keep me awake, trying to remember that. I must have been drinking.  >:D

A lack of direct ancestors poses little problem when you have a host of incestors to take up the slack.

In retrospect, the Adam storyline is distinctly at the bottom of the list for me; it wore thin very quickly, and I never cared for the inclusion of a Frankenstein in the saga. Yet I admire the performances all around in so many instances during that period, and Robert Rodan often made the whole ludicrous thing work admirably. He was definitely under-utilized in the show.
