I was rather taken with the original; the look of this version appears very close to it. Hope it will do the source justice.

Taeylor -- I wrote Curse of the Pharaoh. Of the ones I've written, that one was probably the most fun to do. Really glad you enjoyed it. :)

Eh? I have no idea what that means; I was merely offering a handy remedy for those suffering from stinky storyitis.

This "real" writer will be happy to provide a complimentary clothespin for the nose of anyone who needs it. Just drop me a line.

Blood Dance arrived today, and of course; I dropped everything and listened!

Dang. I'm kinda looking forward to getting mine.  [ghost_wink]

I've put up a few pics of David Selby and Lisa Richards in the studio recording DS: Blood Dance:

Glad to hear you enjoy it. I expect to see it this weekend; looking forward to it. The original is one of my favorite old classics.

Just received from Big Finish: cover art to Dark Shadows: Blood Dance. It's scheduled for April release and will be available for pre-order shortly.

"Blood Dance is written by returning author Stephen Mark Rainey, and features Quentin in prohibition-era Chicago, plunged into a supernatural mystery at the shady Arcadia Club. 'We learn about a chapter of Quentin’s life never revealed in the show itself,' says Rainey. 'There’s new insight into the people, places, and events that shaped one of the show’s most endearing characters.'"

I really enjoy seeing the "inside" during production. Thanks for posting that. Just FYI, my latest script, DARK SHADOWS: BLOOD DANCE, is going into production very soon as well.

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Re: "Forgot Password" Issue

Thanks for explaining. Usually, I'll -eventually- remember a password I forgot, but this bleepin' aging thing seems to add an ever-increasing level of difficulty.

I'm enjoying Google Chrome, though I still prefer Firefox, particularly the add-on features such as No-Script and Cool-Iris Previews.

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / "Forgot Password" Issue
« on: February 07, 2010, 05:28:32 AM »
I don't know whether this problem has come up -- I didn't see it in the topic list when I did a quick browse. I just downloaded Google Chrome, and came to log into the boards. Didn't recollect my password offhand, so I did the "forgot password" thing and requested the email to reset my password. I got the email and clicked on the provided link, but all it did was tell me I was trying to enter the boards illegally, just as when I try to enter from any other link. I recollected my password, fortunately, but it appears to me that there's no way to reset my password in the event I really can't remember it.

Ah, those Lovecraftian curses. So often they backfire, and next thing you know, you're stuck in some outer realm of chaos, where DS isn't shown anywhere, the DVD player laughs at you, and your VHS tapes have all been demagnetized.

Thanks for the kind notice. I've another Big Finish dramatic reading coming out in 2010, which I hope you'll enjoy.  [santa_smiley]

I'd seen an episode or two and thought it was okay. I enjoyed the two opening episodes tonight. I'll probably tune in this week and see where it goes. Not badly written.
