Books and CD's are usually the cover price. Most of the time you can find a better price for these on Amazon. As a rule, there is no charge for autographs (if you bring your own item) or photo opportunities. The actors usually have pictures available for purchase at their tables. Usually about $10, including the autograph. MPI has the DVDs and other related items like t-shirts and stuff. Not sure of what the current prices are.
There's usually vintage memorabilia on sale. It's usually kind of pricey, in my opinion. $15 and up for the Marilyn Ross paperbacks. Same for any of the records.
There are usually back issues of The World of Dark Shadows available. I think $5 for a single issue. $10 and up for a double or triple sized one. Fan novels are usually in the $15-$20 range.
Jay Nass was a studio kid back in the day. He has an amazing assortment of pictures from back then. He has stuff on just about everyone, including some of the day players. Prices vary depending on the size of the pictures. He also has a large assortment of headshots/publicity pictures of the actors. About $10 for an 8x10.
The festival usually auctions off rare items. The bidding can get very intense. Some items have gone for huge amounts of money. I have seen things go for close to a thousand dollars.
Prices can fluctuate from convention to convention.
