Carolyn says she dreams of the maniac and thinks she will be the next victim. The maniac comes up in with Sam and Joe.  Maniac is a fun word almost as fun as lunatic which I try to use as much as possible and ties in with my net comment that Dr. Hoffman has the first session with Maggie offscreen.

Vickie learns Maggie is dead. AM buries her face so we don't have to see real or manufactured grief.  Carolyn and Vickie quarrel over the coming nuptuals. Later horrid Burke and Vickie walk on the beach and she exclaims she would like it quiet, peaceful and dark always.. Sounds like death to me and preferable to horrid Burke.

Why is Barnabas at the hospital? It would seem safer to enslave a staffer to get information or at least send Willie.  I too thought why not kill Sam, but maybe he fare being seen if he ent on a killing preee on the beach.

Barnabas is now framed and hung over the mantel. A good way to keep his presence felt while he is away.
Willie can 't bring himself to poison Maggie and it turns out to be a good thing because in this action packed episode Maggie escapes with the help of Sarah and Wagner through. Mazeof tunnels with Barnabas in pursuit.

Carolyn would rather sleep in a jail cell than go home.  Elizabeth comes into town and is confronted with the wanted posters and bars. A reminder that she is just a step away from being there herself.

Maggie keep asking Sarah how she got in. It would seem that by now she has realized that the impossible can happen.  Maggie will be disposed of.

When Buzz shows up Elizabeth won't let him in the door. He tells her if she is good she will get a ride. I didn't remember Buzz being so entertaining or on for so many episodes.
The big piano is back in the drawing room and Carolyn pointedly plucks the keys as sh talks.
Jason plans to handle Carolyn with smooth talk, but he soon loses his cool.

I think I would say Kangaroos or Koalas also.
Carolyn says she will go all the way with Buzz. Then she states she means marriage. Carolyn wants a crash helmet for her wedding gift.
David swings outside the old house in a filmed shot, then cut to a taped shot with a wide view of the front of the old.House. The knocker has been moved to the other door and the holes are visible where it was on the other door.

When Richard first talked to her about it, he said it would be easy because Paul had been gone so long.

It would have been an interesting tie in to have had Mitch Ryan be the Jeremiah married to Laura. And If  Mitch Ryan  had stayed and Alexandra had a decent leading man with whom said he enjoyed working, would she have left.

Maggie is allowed upstairs and in that smock she looks like a peasant girl nd so out of place. Barnabas threatens Sam. Now why not go all out and tell Maggie Sam will live only if she becomes Josette.  Joe comes to deliver the news that a body is found suspected to be Maggie and is Barnabas behind this?  A little girl sings London Bridge and I am not sick of it yet and the credits roll tht she is Sarah Collins.

Vickie gets close to the truth about her employer and gets a ,"Victoria." and even the foundling knows that when Mother uses your full name you have gone too far.  Jason sets the date t two weeks which is presumably when the divorce is final.

I know when Maggie was in bed at her house, she had on some huge dime store ring. I was going to say we're did Sam get the money to buy such a nice ring, but then I remembered the payoff.  The knocker has appeared on the door, but even though the door is locked silly Barnabas has not thought about his callers coming in through the windows.

I enjoyed Roger's pessimistic take on life that it would only come to ruin.  Joe and Vickie have a get together at the blue Whale and he comes off a little too judgmental about Carolyn being with bikers and drinking and driving, but the it was 1967 and bikers were bad.  Buzz has an earring that looks like something my grandmothers wore and the nighttime sunglasses.  Buzz is without Bread so Carolyn pays just like her mother. I love the STP stickers on the bike. I still have one on the inside of one of the dresser drawers in my house. we used to put tem on our bikes too, though ours were pedal driven.
Carolyn says that people do not live at Collinwood, there they only exist.  Buzz justs wants some beer. There is a transistor radio in the drawing room at Colinwood so they can really swing.  Buzz calls Elizabeth Mommy.

It seems it is in Maggie's bet interest that she just come to the point of becoming Josette but never Quite get there. It seems that for some reason the spell that she was under before she came to the old house was more powerful. She was totally under Barnabas' control and now it's faded.
Maggie's jewels sparkle in the candlelight of the basement. Apparently some of lat weeks episodes were pre-empted and a recap was read over the scene. Maggie must endure great pain and be bloodless before her demise and she must beg for death. Quite a hopeless existence although Willie tries to encourage her.
