Nice Family drama. I have to say that Louis Edmonds creates a character that is so totally different that I don't even think of him as the guy that plays Roger in the present. Can't say the same for Grayson Hall as she often seems like Julia playing dress up with her speech and mannerisms.
I like that Jeremiah is not obeying Angelique. It makes her more interesting and closer to the character as I enjoy where she thinks she is in control but things fall apart.

I only heard Josette scream at the beginning. It would seem that both ladies should scream. Later Naomi sees Jeremiah with the weird eye looking at her. Then noises come from Jeremiah's locked tower room.

DL, I like that idea about Abigail. It would make sense why a spinster sister, who normaly would have a rather marginalized position in the family, has so much influence.

Jeremiah is finally seen again. Well sort of anyway. I was wondering if it were a dummy or a real person and then eventually there was movement in the body.  They talk of Jeremiah dying while right next to him unless maybe his ears were shot off in the duel. Jeremiah appears in Josettes room and she says, "have you recovered?"  As if a man with his head shot off at close range would recover.  Not that I wanted to see it, but AG never got a death scene. Either he was running away as fast as he could or they did not want him back.
Barnabas gets trapped into marriage just when his rival is dead and he had a chance to get the widow within a suitable period of mourning of course.

It would seem that if Joshua did not want a scandal, then he would send Trask away. Keeping him there would only fuel gossip. 

Track manifests danger and Vickie is slow  to realize just how dangerous he is. The scene in her room was intense with all the possibilities.

There is an afghan on the the bed in the inn. It seems to be the go to accessory in decorating. It is hard to believe that someone in town had not seen the newlyweds and told someone at the Collins work. The town could not have been that big in those days for everyone not to know what goes on at the home of the town founders.
