In regards to Betty showing up at Sam's again one of my Grandmothers many talents was painting and she used to make practice copies to try out different colors or techniques, and if someone wanted a painting she didn't want to part with, she would paint a duplicate. Anyway that's how I choose to explain the return of Betty.
Cassandra tells her brother that she can make the curse succeed, but he has moved on to more interesting plans and people.

Cassandra covers her hand in bandages and must have some fake hand over the skeleton one as it looks like a bandaged hand.  There is much reading off the TelePrompTer. David sneaks off to the Old house like old times.

The never ending night continues with a nice fade in from Barnabas to Adam.  Stokes digs up Barnabas without becoming drenched in sweat as one would expect from a grossly overweight sedentary old gentleman. Carolyn decides to hide Adam in the West wing of the great house at Collinwood. Can't wait to see it again.

Carolyn finds Adam clutching his neck and Julia finds Barnabas with bloody neck.  Julia pleads for help as Willie babbles and Barnabas just lies there. Julia just decides to bury Barnabas in the woods without staking him and naturally Willie does all the digging.

The drawing room looks very warm and inviting in this episode. I'm not sure if it is better lighting or a better film.  Barnabas does not question the letter could be fake when he knows  Cassandra  is  plotting against him.
Julia's suit has an interesting texture and she looks well styled today. Carolyn goes to find Adam. He is eating grass in the old cellar.  The police had not thought to look there? When there was so much talk of his childlike behavior in the past. I can't quite buy Carolyn's interest in Adam

Sam Evans 1915-1968. Rest in peace? No, Cassandra is rising him from the grave. Now we have Dead Sam in a trench coat with dark glasses.  Why he was buried this way is not explained?  Cassandra and Barnabas do some verbal sparing and she reveals to audience she still has feelings of Love for her hubby.
Suddenly there is a closet in a house that would not have been designed for one.  Joe comes out of Barnabas's closet. A situation full of innuendo.

Maggie sees the ghost offscreen and smart Vickie is back. Vickie decides to ask the new go to guy Pr. stokes for advice.  Joe tags along. It reminds me of the pre Barnabas days. Joe is suspicious and figures Adam is at Stokes and decides to be Annie Oakley for the day with Adam as the target.
