Julia doesn't think she can recreate the experiment. It was never mentioned that you needed anything but superior body parts, a life force, and some thread and poor sewing skills. The background music is distracting during the Stokes and Barnabas scene.  Stokes says he detests unannounced visitors but he seems to have had them before.

The fanged Angelique opening her eyes is quite scary.  She prefers death to being a vampire.  As kids we all wanted to be vampires and the idea of living forever and being up at night was really something far out.  She is Nicks slave, but it seemed that way before just that she was a reluctant slave and disobedient.  Nick is to choose her victims and she is to stay away from Barnabas. Good luck with that. Angelique is all interested in the handsome cop and only Nick stops her from taking him and she has already broken the rules.  I really need to take more legible notes. What I thought was Angelique comes to Vickie in a dream from last espiode was really Angelique in Coffin asleep. So today it's Angelique appears and scares Vickie. If Angelique can be believed, Peter and Jeff are the same.  Adam Tells Barnabas that Vickie will die unless he gets his mate.
As what was brought up in the previous watching, how will the new race be created since Adam and his mate are still human with superior body parts,  Will Julia be stationed in a lab churning out creations, and won't the quality suffer as a result, and why can't Nick just conjure up a whole race of dead beings and bring them to life?

This was my first episode. The neighbors invited us to watch and when the coffin was opened their mother exclaimed, "It's Cassandra."  Then we turned the part of our house we didn't use into Collinwood and we always had to be home by 4 o'clock.  It was quit funny when Nick calls Harry that strange servant.  We learn the man is Tom Jennings and is barely alive with the help of a transfusion. Vickie awakens in a strange room from which she can hear the ocean, but I would guess that could be most places around Collinsport. Angelique appears in a dream to Vickie and sets up what could be an interesting premise that Vickie is in a room lost in time.

Barnabas hears the dog howling and fears they sense something. The coffin  and Nick stands creepily over it and makes one wonder if Nick is planning to finish Angeliques failed mission. Jennings appears and sees the coffin and Nick pities him and he sees something in the woods we do not see, Jeff hears hideous screams he find Jennings with holes in his neck. Nick says and so it has begun.  Barnabas is frightened and unclear about what he was doing before he got to the Great House. Barnabas and Julia talk about Adams plans and then Nick arrives and said he saw Barnabas running in the woods. Jeff bursts in and says he saw a almost dead man in the woods.  Jennings names is revealed to be Tom in the credits.

Vickie recognized the West Wing from her previous excursions and incarceration there. This room miraculously has a closet, although the rooms in the occupied part of the house do not even have closets except Roger's room. Jeff is just awful.  Barnabas and Jeff go to find Vickie and don't split up from the start.

camera is shooting through the louver door next to the fireplace for what seems to be the first time and the desk in in the background of the scene. It's a nice change from the usual camera angles in the room.  Jeff gets all pouty when Vickie decides to see Barnabas.  Adam grabs Vickie and apparently Adam is so ugly that she faints just as Carolyn did when he took her. It seems a bit much considering some of the things Vickie has seen and not fainted over.

I imagine the Harry had lots of experience with knives in prison and is able to talk Adam out of suicide. And now the Bride of Frankenstein comes to the table.

Carolyn reports that Adam is now a man. Somehow Adam has learned many new things in a short period of time. Maybe by his reading the dusty books in a dusty room.  Adam  comes to the conclusion he is ugly and needs to die by his own hand. Apparently from the search  for the face episode, Adam was all done but the face, so why did Lange attach the face in the middle of the forehead and for no reason put cuts under the eye. Adam has been around for a long while, yet his scars have not begun to fade nor have the stitched been removed.

The deserted West wing is far from deserted with all the people coming and going. Why hasn't David found Adam yet?  Barnabas's coffin in in the basement and Nick says it Angeliques final resting place. We have to be close to the first episode that I watched as a kid.

Angie comes into Vickie's room via the secret panel. I wish they used the secret panels more. They are so much fun that when I remodeled my house I had to add one.  And Nick is waiting there in anticipation of her every move.  Roger having married two supernatural creatures decides to never marry again. Barnabas tells Julia that Angelique died at the Old House once again, but Nick takes the body no doubt for nefarious purposes.

I liked the line about Justice in Hell. Then Vickie awakens with the painting glowing as it ages and Vickie suddenly decides that what happens to the painting happens to Angelique. Julia in a role reversal of last year is up for another killing this time of Angelique and with the gun. Unlike when she hoped Adam got hit by a car and killed, she doesn't plan to leave this to chance. Then when the old crone appears to Roger, he does not even recognize his wife and is sympathetic to the shriveled creature.  Julia examins her alone and we are left to wonder is she bashed in her head, while her two husbands talk in the hall.

When Nick catches her and says she will never try again, odds are she will. I don't know what Parker has done between her first portrayal of Angelique(which I hated) and this one where I see glimmers of awareness, but she seems a better actress despite all the unlearned lines. Maybe acting lessons or a play. And she decides to use voodoo and takes forever to stick the pin in the doll and Nick puts a stop to it.  He makes her Human and she goes to the Old House and attempts a third murder with a plain old gun. I would have liked to have seen Barnabas dodging the axe, but it was not meant to be.

I missed the Roger going to Bangor. It was a total surprise to see him come in the door and makes me realize how little the original cast is being used in the present story. Where did the axe come from? Is she channeling Matt Morgan?  It must be the Joan Crawford Movie where she is going around cutting off heads and blaming it on her daughter. I guess casting a spell is just to boring and some real blood is needed.

Stokes reveals he feels sorry for Adam and to Julia he says he knows Adam was man Made.  What clued him in? The sewn together body parts?  Nick learns that Adam is at the Great House of Collinwood from the men with missing parts. I keep wondering  how Adam got matching hands when they apparently came from two separate bodies. Maybe dead twins.  It was a Gordon Russell episode or at least he gets credit for it.

Harry pulls a knife on Adam and plans to collect the reward. A not well thought out plan on so many levels, but that was no doubt a major reason young Harry has been to prison already in his unfortunate life. Cassandra suddenly remembers Eric's voice which once heard in unforgettable.  I can just see Mrs. J  wondering how Harry got to be Chauffeur. Cassandra and Nicholas are at odds over Adam and one can see that it will not end well.
