Well going away forever is only as far as the. House by the sea not far from Collinwood. Eve is hostile to Adam and can't bear the sight of him. he is ugly stupid and boring. One day together and it's not going so well with the made to order bride. The end with both the men chocking and Barnabas saying Adam is being killed is dramatic and will Timothy ask how Barnabas knows this?

Maggie goes to find. Joe who will believe her, but we know it has to end badly. Joe is a mess and has lost his job and Maggie who now walks in on him with his new love Angelique. She wants to escape but it's too late.

The VO states that the long night of Danger is over and the sky is blue over the Great House. David's good friend Adam has gone away forever. Pr Stokes realizes that for some reason Carolyn does not know about Eve now.

Winds blow through the house and Timothy decides its a spirit not the drafts from a few centuries old mansion. I keep noticing the changes in how silver his hair is from episode to episode. Leona's body and the creature couple are gone.

I'm with you on the anagram, Magnus. Why even go there? I keep wondering who dresses Eve? Party dress and heels and nothing Julia would ever think to wear. Timothy has solved the riddle somehow and come to the conclusion that Nick is involved.

Julia returns with Stokes who is suspicious of Leona and her unusual name Eltridge. She says to herself she will destroy them all. She claims she is Eric s dying friend.

Now Nick is providing the life force? Why not do that all along? Adam says adios to Carolyn. Nick erases her memory and has summoned Danielle Roget supposed one of the most evil women to have lived. I fail to see how a dead woman could provide the life force, but it would have made Nicks plan much more interesting from the start if his plan was to churn out corpses to bring back dead villains.

Barnabas and Julia sit around causally discussing Adam who has run off to kill everyone. No attempt is made to warn or save anyone. Barnabas finally goes to tell them Carolyn is dead and she is alive! Meanwhile in Maggie's domain where they actually have a separate though somewhat related storyline going, she fails to fall for the medallion and it's charms a second time.

Adam takes Carolyn upstairs where it is warm? A drafty room with unlit fireplace as opposed to an underground even temperature basement full of hot equipment. Makes a lot of sense. Carolyn dreamed of body parts that wanted her life and she dies. I we'll remembered this episode from the first time as it all seemed kind of modern artsy that was shocking to the old folks of the time. Carolyn is dead and Adam goes off to kill Vickie and the family. Nobody tries to stop him.

Adam wants the mate to look like Carolyn looks and is upset to learn that she will not. It seems that Adam still lack some knowledge to think so stupidly at times. He does wonder if she will not like his looks. Julia throws the breaker and fiddles with dials in an intent sort of way. Carolyn will die in sixty seconds.

Barnabas now focuses on silencing Maggie. he will do this if Julia cannot. It is revealed that the bandages on the mate will stop scarring.

Willie leaves the door open giving Maggie a chance to try and escape. I really see a lot of resemblance to this version of Willie and the one in the remake series.
