I likes the effect of the light at Collinwood. I wonder why Julia would put her notes back in the same box and place it was found and stolen from once before. The Old House would seem a better choice.  They hear music and Barnabas says it is seldom used to frighten. What about Quentin?  The ending is quite scary as Julia see's a menacing man in the window. Gerard in the credits.

Barnabas calls Roxanne over and over again. Meanwhile Julia doesn't. Julia looks very pretty having gone through fire and time. The learned to live without love scene is vey good and understated. Barnabas seems to awkwardly acknowledge and ignore it at the same time. So the roof of Collinwood has caved in wherever they are and Barnabas deduces it is the future as trees have grown to the door. I might think, having just left a burning Collinwood that I was in future PT or maybe another time. A new grave tells them it's 1995 and then the horror that David died in 1970. Then an elderly Mrs. Johnson babbles on in a crazed version of her normal self and whispers to go to the old shack  at Findlay's cove. Now I wouldn't call this a shack. I think of Laura's demise place as a shack. Anyway, the shack is filled with pieces of Collinwood. I thought this was great when it first aired and still do. The wreckage of the house is well done.

It feels like they had planned PT to last longer and then decided wrap it up sooner maybe due to ratings or audience complaints.

Barnabas looks at Roxanne's neck saying I love you so. She loves him too. He sends her away and she returns to be bitten by him. Roxanne has psychic powers it seems and wants to find Julia. She reports that Julia Hoffman is dead and anyone with a brain would realize that the only thing that would be Julia's would be what she wore to PT. because Roxanne has said it, Barnabas gives up the search.
q has told Maggie they will leave Collinwood forever and Barnabas and Maggie leave forever sealing Julia's fate. Barnabas doesn't seem too worried about getting back to RT.

The main villain  player in the drama is dead so it should be a curtain call, but no Roxanne wants to,stay to tell Barnabas it feels as if she's known him all her life. Talk about instant love.
Meanwhile the lovebirds whom we have been following declare they will start again and all the misunderstanding is cleared up. The great build up off Claude comes to a whimpering end as he is dead.

Maggie reveals to A that Roger is the killer. A reveals she hated Roger which doesn't seem to jive with how it was played earlier.  Meanwhile Barnabas gazes at the sleeping Roxanne and starts the experiment himself. Barnabas goes to look for Julia to see if she is still alive. I guess I missed where he became aware something may have happened to her. The Mirror in Collinwoods foyer has returned after a missing period.
Angelique conveniently gets a chill after weeks of none and its bye bye Roger. There seems to be two different ideas going on that she needs human warmth to live and that Roxannes life force is making her live. Claude is skulking about and Roxanne opens her eyes for him  Maggie is being spellbound by Angeligue to take a gun to kill Q.  The end is obviously near.

Julia denies she is Dr. Hoffman. Here should be plenty of ways Angelique could test this but she chooses not to. I was surprised Julia didn't just admit it.  Elizabeth comes down the stairs all satiny on shimmery. This proves to be her swan song as Roger later kills her and stuffs her in the window seat. Angeligue leads Hoffman into the depths of the deepest cellar and reveals she does not believe her and locks her in the secret chamber where Damian was interred and I'm feeling claustrophobic over this.

I an Claude North. This leaves no doubt what the mysterious man is called. Barnabas uses the old house phone which seems strange, though he must have used the phone in the main house in RT. Buffy is apparently still on the hook even if it's offscreen.  Barnabas so longs to know Roxanne. After all these centuries, poor Josette is cast aside and his love has died like grass upon the lawn.
