Trask and Daphne argue over witchcraft. Desmond is supposedly choking to death and Trask does not,remove the scarf around the dolls neck. I notice that Kate Jackson seems to go to a dour face look for Daphne most the time. Lamar takes the doll to Gerard and they have another long conversation and Gerard is skeptical acting. They finally untie it and Desmond is okay. Desmond reveals the doll was a gift to Q.
Meanwhile Randall is flitting about learning that Johanna is dead from Q. That Daphne is her sister.
Suddenly Daphne has another letter from her sister and tells Gerard and he is wooing her ends in a kiss. She pulls away. Desmond tells Randall he suspects Gerard and Randall goes to,his room, finds the mask and the door knob turns.  The end. I find this all excruciatingly boring. I feel like all the interesting actors are off doing plays and popping in for an occasional guest spot.

IN the reprise of the seance scene the shadow woman is gone.
Desmond finds the  journal of Judah in Gerard's room. Gerard claims he just found it. Desmond takes it.
Gerard talks to Flora who reveals about Roxanne and that she is writing about vampires.
Gerard talks to Lamar about witchcraft and pretends to be Q's friend.
Q tells Gerard she is in love with Daphne. Not very discreet. Gerard puts spell on Daphne she dreams of Gerard.
Desmond comes in to tell Flora to get rid of Gerard who,uses Voodoo to make Desmond choke and Gerard steals the journal. This show has terrible editing. Gerard is in a scene and then the very next with another person in another house. It was, as if, they edited a couple episodes together all about Gerard. Sam Hall is just terrible. Not at all interesting.

Barnabas finds Julia and Roxanne is there. Barnabas uses his eye power again to control Roxanne and she leaves.
Flora and Randall talk and Lamar comes in. He and Randall argue. Lamar is blithering on about witchcraft and Q. He leaves and Roxanne losing her choice morsel of Julia has to settle for Lamar.
Barnabas tells Randall, a person he barely knows, that Roxanne has risen. Flora realizes a vampire is loose They learn Lamar is under her spell and follow him. At dawn Randall holds a cross on Roxanne. Okay, if I were Randall, I'd ask why Barnabas isn't staking her. Who made Roxanne a vampire, and how,does Barnabas know so much about it?  He really should have put him under his spell to work for him.

Daphne admits the truth and admits she is Johanna's sister and reveals she wants Q dead. Daphne did not write the letters and she realizes Q's torment and forgives him. Gabe wheels in on their hug and also,wonders where dear Cousin Julia is?
Naturally next scene is a postrate Julia and a dark faced Lazlo. He teases her with a cross and takes her ring. I wonder how Julia managed to bejewel herself in this era. Did she find a cache of Collins jewels? It would have been fun to see her going through a pile and saying , "finally they are just for me."  Before the present Barnabas arrived.
Barnabas is fretting away at Collinwod over Julia and I wonder why he isn't looking, but he was taking a break. I'm not sure why a supernatural being needs one.
Lazlo goes to OldHouse calling Angelique. He apparently hasn't been informed she's Valerie now. And I'm wondering now where she has been. Barnabas catches him and uses the power of they eyes to get him to spill.
Daphne rejects Q over Johanna. What about his wife and son? Johanna has left a letter for Daphne to make a wiser choice than she? What does it mean to not kill herself?
Barnabas finds Julia.  The Credit end is from the perspective of standing in front of the fireplace in the drawing room through the doors to the hall and it frames in the gilded mirror to Barnabas's picture. I don't recall seeing that before as the credits roll.

Gabriel shows up after a long MIA in the basement lab. He sure gets around for being in a wheelchair. There has never been any evidence that the  House has ramps going to every floor and tower.
Q and Daphne are in the Drawing room and he reveals the information that his Dad murdered his Mother. Not sure he should be blabbing to a near total stranger, but then he hired her to watch his child without much thought.
Edith also makes an appearance and tells The gleeful Gabriel that Q is in the doghouse with ther father.
Gerard wants Daphne as a follower and puts a spell on her. Gabriel catches Edith and Gerard close  and  an argument ensues with Edith calling him a cripple. Then Q catches Daphne with a letter.

Julia has holes in her neck. We did not get to see Roxanne do the deed. Valerie has her in a locked room of an old light house. She plans to let her die and be a vampire. Now I remember seeing this but not how it progresses so it should be fun to watch.
Barnabas is at the Great House looking for Julia. Talks to Q.  Gerard and Charles Dawson come in. Charles is a lawyer and latest version of Nick Blair. Gerard wants Collinwood. Apparently Judah hasn't checked out the changes from last decades and that there might be a whole world out there to conquer. He also wants Q beheaded in 1840. I don't recall beheading being an accepted form or punishment in US and when was the last witchcraft trial?  1795 Collinsport and a hanging. A less messy form of death just ask my Aunt Anne.
Barnabas and his bride talk about Julia and then Gerard puts a spell on Valerie so she sees Armadeaus Collins and he knows who she is. Miranda!

I really dislike that they have disc 1 attached to the case and hidden under the booklet particularly when my player starts on the first episode and because of the way they are skipping around on the stories and character, it takes a while to figure out its ten episodes ahead.
A never before mentioned Randall Drew comes to the Old House. He is Samantha's brother. Where is the oft mentioned but never seen Father Drew. Randall has been in New York being an attorney. Lamar told him that Barnabas is a sorcerer responsible for Roxanne's death and does the sensible thing of going to confront him with no back up defense.
Julia is to stake Roxanne after the funeral. Meanwhile it is revealed that Randall was Johanna's beau and Q stole her away. Now, 1840 Q seems arumentative but he doesn't seem much like a womanizer as his nephew will be. Not to mention he has an attractive and passionate. Wife he seems to have little interest in.
Valerie searches Julia's room and somehow Julia has thought to grab her Appt. book while being chased by Zombies and Valerie finds it. Julia reveals all and still feels Julia is the enemy.
The funeral is sparsely attended for a Collins affair and daughter of Banker who is also absent. Julia gets the stake and hammer and Valerie makes her fall asleep and Julia at dusk foolishly goes to the tomb and Roxanne vampire is waiting.
