Diana did say that she and Louie were great friends and she was with him up to his passing.  It was an interesting interview and one wonders if she were always like this or playing Laura brought it on.

I noticed that also being a redhead myself.  Most of the brown haired actors came across as redheads on our ancient  color t.v so I was later surprised to learn that  they were not.

Barnabas and Angelique live in the old house where she tries to live a mortal and quiet life, but sometimes magic makes things so much easier and with servant Willie and his son Little Willie  always seeming to get into some misadventure there are occasions.  Then there is the problem of their practicing witch daughter Hallie who is the first wife of David Collins and mother to his oldest son Tim.   She has taken none to kindly to David's second wife  Melanie who just happens to be the daughter of Victoria and supposedly Peter Bradford.  David and Melanie have  a son  Brandon and a daughter  Laurie.

Elizabeth left Collinwood to her eldest daughter Victoria who has never understood how she became pregnant in the frist place, but the arrival of a strange yet familiar man who is determined to take down the Collins family set's her off to Wyndcliff to Dr. Amy Jennings in hope's she can unlock the secret with  hypnosis.  Victoria has been drawn into the past more times than she can count and died there only to be rescued by some member of the family.  She also has a teenage son Daniel Collins.

The mysterious man who calls himself  Blake Madison come to town with his granddaughter  Eden and when she and Brandon Collins meet at Collinsport High sparks fly

As a child I thought this woman seems very odd and as an adult I also think is this really a woman?   [ghost_undecided]

During the Paul Stoddard story,  Roger reveals that he knows nothing of what went on because he was away at boarding school.

I thought Joanna Going was excellent.  Haven't seen it since the original broadcast but I know I hated Willie.  Ben Cross and Barbara Steele were okay.

If I remember correctly, wanted air vents in the coffin and you would think that after some time the family would have noticed that the body had not decomposed.  The Collins family seemed to have many apparently unpaying guests over the centruries so perhaps Liz was just carrying on another family tradition with Julia.  I would think that Liz's sense of family pride would incline her to let Julia stay on to write a book without paying lodging.

This was my introduction to the beautiful Joan Bennett and I loved this storyline.  I think i can still recall Carolyn's word's on the eventual payoff much further down the road.  The Tom and Julia story is also one of my favorites and was the only one in the series that gave me a nightmare.

This was my first episode and I was hooked.  It was just as exciting to watch all these years later,

Considering that  Sam Hall recycled several of the storylines into later years  using  the same and different actors, he shouldn't talk much. Is that the same interview where he says that he had to make sure that he never ended a scene with the last shot on his wife due to her overacting. I found that rather odd.

Carolyn's schooling seems to be a mystery as she had apparently graduated at age seventeen,  there apparently was no governess for her as Vickie was the first stranger allowed on the estate, and Carolyn talks about growing up lonley in the great house.  So did she go to school in Collinsport  and would that school teach Mozart?
