That seems awful cheap for those is such good condition. It'll be interesting to see how much they go for. Back in the 90's during the resurgence of DS I remember seeing them at a "thrift" shop for 50 bucks.

I inherited a huge lot of VM reels from my uncle when I was younger... I just love those stereo pictures!! Unfortunately there were no DS reels in that collection. Mostly it was sight-seeing vacation reels. Mount Vernon, D.C. etc. In the 60's I guess people would buy postcards and VM reels in the gift shops to remember the trip by. I had the projector too! (but of course shining it on the wall the 3-D effect was lost.)

In case somebody hasn't already mentioned it, I was able to add post "Beginning" DVD's to the mailing que now. You must do a new search and add them manually. The ones I had in my "saved" section did not switch over to the active que. It looks like they pretty much have all of them now again. (including the elusive #14) Hurray!

Probably eventually they will get them all streaming.  Enough to get new people hooked and halfway through the series and then raise the prices again!!

Thanks, Anne, Stokes, Josette and Midnite for all your birthday wishes!

I'm sure Barnabas learned some sort of voodoo thing in the West Indies that will restore you, Qbot!

How about a Santerķa remedy from his South American travels?

Thanks Magnus!

Its strange, I can use DS as some sort of weird mental crutch when I need it for all kinds of escapes from problems big and small.  The funny thing is that I can always laugh at the people inside the box because they are usually having a pretty rough go of life in general. Narcotic pain killers don't agree with my system, so at least in my pain I can at least say that I'm not the victim of a gypsy curse! (At least I don't think I am anyways.)

Thanks so much everyone for your wishes!!!  Nice font Midnite!!

I haven't been posting too much lately due to the fact I injured myself about a month ago and am still recovering. Severe back strain is what the doc said... Just totally blew out my back when picking up a fairly light box, but picked it up the wrong way and whammo! Off to the emergency room I went. It's been hell trying to get back to normal,  but luckily it is much much better. You sure take for granted things like dressing yourself and lacing up your shoes. Thanks again for all your kind words!

Trying to get caught up on the WP as I finally got 'The Beginning' discs. It almost seems like this is a strange parallel time period or something! I'm bouncing back between that and Leviathans, which I used to loathe but now I can dig it man!!
