sounds like my grandmother she's stubborn as hell but than mine is 94 years old too.. i'm thrilled to learned Denise is doing so much better and has started being herself again after the stroke. i hope her speech isn't as bad as say Kirk Douglass after his stroke years ago.

but he's a guy i always get the impression who also is very stubborn too... so maybe that might be helpful for her to get better and to speak normally again? her stubborness maybe?

i do think they have way to many tv series for star trek as well to be honest. and i do like star trek too. but Star Trek is a far far bigger and well loved series than This series. that's not to say that it doesn't have it's fan base it does. but we all now how big star trek is. though the best thing that Shatner ever did and the funniest is his SNL bit when he even too a stab/jab at star trek fans.

that was in (1986) i believe. anyways i still haven't gotten around to watch the last episodes of the originals.

thank you i missed that last night, and that makes sense to me since next month the new season of shows starts and they want to burn the rest of the season off

am i the only one thinks they should just say goodbye to this franchise? i mean 2 shows of it are enough just let it die and create something Original that they haven't done yet ya know? weather it's a horror show or not it would be something new ya know?

i love the (1980) film hell i grew up with it. but i also do agree with king on how he changed from his book and i get why he's mad also cause that was after all his 1st personal book that the message he was putting in went totally over Kubrick's head. i do like the 97 film but like i said elsewhere the cast is what hurts the film.

i love Steven Weber and he's a fine actor but he was awful in the remake. the only one who even really was good was Melvin i think his name is? Van Peeples.  i do own this book i just haven't read it all that's all.

i hope it's done right as well i have no idea who want to play Danny. it'd be great if they get Danny Lloyd to play him but that won't happen again since he hasn't acted in over 30 years and he's i think a teacher now anyways. as for King, when he wanted to do the tv minseries he signed a contract saying he wouldn't bash Kubrick's version and so he let up on it and was nice about it back than. but since time has passed and it's been years and his film was made he no longer goes by that contract i don't think.

but to my knowledge he's not as pissed off about it as he once was but than i could be wrong. that doesn't mean he's not still mad about what Kubrick did to his book cause i think he is, but i don't think as far as i know that he goes off and disses the film like he used to but than again i could be wrong as well on that

i haven't seen the 13 one to be fair. but i love the 76 version. and really? have you seen Stand by Me, shawshank. Green Mile i loved Salam's Lot.  the long version of the 79 film. of the books i've read i'm going by.
i love Pet Sematary as well. i read the book not that long ago and it's pretty faithful to the novel. yes some things were changed but for me i think the film is better than the book. more scarier but that's me though.

there i'm sure are more but these are ones i love. i love the shining but that's not faithful, the 97 is and what hurts that one is it's cast not the script.  anyways sorry for going off topic a bit here  but he's my favorite author and i can go on for hours about King

i just learned of this late last night actually when i was looking DS up. i had seen on blu-ray.com that it had the show going to blu-ray,no release date though and i was looking online and when i saw that post i went WTF? so i found online that she had, had a stroke and i am so relieved she is doing better.

i've been a fan of her's since i was a kid. for me though DS wasn't the 1st thing i saw her in but Willy Wonka.
it's a shame she quit acting but she i'm glad has had a great life so far.  i hope she continues to do better with each passing day. i hope she sounds better than say Kirk Douglass. after he had his stroke it really messed his speech up cause it had been a really big one and i don't think it was his 1st either.

through the years for him it did get better but than at the oscars what was it this year or last? i forget which he was at and he sounded like his voice had gotten even worse.  and he is after all going to be 102 this year.
my point is i hope that Denise doesn't end up sounding like him and i hope it wasn't as bad as the one he had in the late 90's i think it was.

off topic a bit but my mom's was a nurse since retired but her name also is Denise. if i'm not mistaken Denise was one as well which is why i mentioned my mom

i got myself a new computer a couple weeks ago and i could not remember my password at all though it was saved on that. so i took a guess on which e-mail it was used that i posted on here eons ago and i lucked out it was a still active one.  and i had to put a new password in, having said that i have watched part of the pilot on hulu but not all of it yet. i was getting tired and i shut it off since it was late at nite at the time.  and i keep forgetting to go back to watch it.

i hear the warrens were a complete fake and even at some point admitted it. the amityville house is something that never happened. the killing of the family that did as we all know did happen. but the house being evil? that's BS cause there were later people who lived there when nothing happened to them at all.

as for Annabelle i dunno how real that story is to be fair. or how fake..??? but i have the 1st film on blu-ray i did buy it having never seen it. and  i still haven't watched it yet.. but i did see the 2nd film and that was a medicore at best film. it's one of those films where it's got a horrible ending at least i didn't like it. yet... it's also a film where you just watch only once and that's it.   it does not need a 3rd film at all.

from me as it does with everyone.  as for Stranger Things funny enough i showed the show to my mom and she fell in love with it. but oddly i haven't gotten around to finish season 1 let alone season 2. and i'm kinda glad too and it's not that i think the show is awful i don't.

it's just with season 3 not coming in over a year it's best that i won't be stuck on a cliff-hanger that long that's all
