Having finally recovered from a bout of pneumonia lasting almost 6 weeks, I'm finally slogging through pages of the forum to play catch up!
On this topic, I've collected 7 of the 1960's Gold Key DS comics so far, as well as a few of the 1991 versions. The 1991 versions run around $4-6 ea. and the 1960's versions average about $25/ea. though the #1 edition is about double that. I get most of them on the NewKadia website, and they do weekly reductions on the comics--sometimes you can wait them out and get a pretty good price.

Hi-just a note to let you know that I've been pretty sick, and haven't had energy to do my part in the watching program. Started with the flu and ended with pneumonia-yuk.  :(  As soon as I can be up more than a few minutes at a time I'll do better at participating. I am watching all the episodes, though--something fun to do while recouping! Thanks for understanding! :)

I would love to have seen Willie have a serious relatonship with someone-and ultimately stand up to Barnabas over her,so that eventually he was  no longer just B's servant, but his true friend.(And maybe eventually have a child--can't you just see Willie as a Dad?!) ;)

Well I, too, got curious about the hand at the end, so went on a hunt to research.  According to Craig Hamrick's book, the hand of Barnabas was played by Timothy Gordon. He also played the hand of Count Petofi, and a customer at both the Blue Whale and the Bangor Pine Hotel Restaurant. And finally, he was the ghost of Jeremiah Collins. All necessary parts--which proves the old saying that there is no such thing as a small part for actors!  Barnabas & Company, Craig Hamrick, page 22.

I notice today is "Fried Frid Feed-in"...I got a bunch at the market, but I'm not sure how to cook them? Does one deep fry or pan fry? Coat with flour or roll in oats? And what about seasonings? Can someone help me out with the recipe? I can't wait to taste these Frids!
