I recently watched a series with Rachel Ward called "Rain Shadow"-made in Australia. It occurred to me that her character in that was similar to Julia Hoffman. She had the same abrupt yet caring demeanor, as well as those great cheekbones. I think she would make a great Dr. Hoffman!

Twilight-mania notwithstanding, nothing--I mean nothing--will ever beat out the original. Just finished watching DVD #9 in DS-[spoiler]Willie digging the grave to find a body for Adam's mate--Angelique biting Joe H. --Julia and Barnabas beginning work on the "experiment"[/spoiler]--how can anything compare?! I read Twilight--can't say it was enthralling, but on par with a lot of teen novels. YES! I love the show, too! I've read all 8 of Charlaine Harris' "southern vampire" series and think they are fabulous. That is how I got interested in TRUE BLOOD. We don't have cable, so I watch it online through one of "those" sites. Good stuff--though nothing will ever outdo Dark Shadows!
