But if I could choose from any house in town, maybe Mark would let me share the Evans Cottage.  It too needs some redecorating, but it looks manageable, good light, the French doors, etc.  But I agree with Mark--the afghan needs to go  8).

Luciaphil, I think you're confusing the poster Raineypark with Mark Rainey, though the names have made me do a double take once or twice too. ;)

Midnite...I think I read on testing you wrote you're an IT person (internet tech???? duh...)

I'm not an IT; I only play one on the DS boards. ;)  Seriously, it was MB that said that, and I believe the I stands for Information.  I'm so not an IT-- that's why MB's the webmaster and I'm just the moderator.

Okay:
What's an avatar?

It's a digital representation of ourselves in the virtual world.  In other words, it's a symbol we choose to represent who we are.  Mine turns into Evil Bunny when I'm in a bad mood. :)

If a poster wanted to put a link for a site, will it appear (cause I vaguely remember some Greek-to-me: this is for YaBB, will not support HTML.
Yabbadabba do....
what are the Y and a for (and I'm ASSuming the BB are for bulletin board)!

Hee hee, I never thought of it that way.  They stand for "Yet another..."  Just type a URL and it will automatically be converted to a link, just like on the VNet boards.  There are light colored squares above the message windows that provide you with the YaBB tags that take the place of HTML code here.

Which reminds me (with links):
have we seen/heard from Stuart Manning or Cryside?

Oh yes.  They've both posted on the discussion board.

P.S.....why is the time a person posts so incredibly innacurate (i.e., it's 6:58pm est, can't wait to see what the board says).

HAA!!! Board says 12:09 a.m.!!

Registered members can go into their profiles and enter an offset to make the clock display according to their own time zone.  For example, since where you are it was a few minutes before 7 p.m. when you posted, in your profile you'd enter an offset of -5 [hours].  The clock will still be off by a few minutes, btw.

Take care!

I thought I posted something yesterday (re: did I blink/when did Josh become a cat AND if I was Vicki I'd think I was losing my marbles).....

You did post that you missed seeing it.  It happened in ep #378, which aired a week ago.  Jeremiah was leaving, so Ang got the idea that she could prevent his departure by having something happen to Joshua, and it worked because Jeremiah's attention turned to finding his brother.  It's a must-see for Ben's dialogue alone.

ALSO, I definitely logged out of here at 3:15ish p.m., yet now-7:45ish I'm still in.

Patti, check to see if the box at the bottom of the home page that says "Always stay logged in" is checked.  If you prefer to log out and back on again for each visit, you'll want to either uncheck it or drastically reduce the number of minutes.

denise,

Can you please not use all caps?

Sorry to put it on the board, but I don't have your e-address.  Thanks!

I did want to ask why, when I post Robservations, does this board turn my apostrophes into question marks?  If you tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'll stop, I promise!
You're so sweet!  It's certainly not your fault-- it's the program you're pasting from.  On the last board, I had the same thing happen if I copied text from "Word".  I copied that first set of your summaries from the Shadows list's archives, so that's why it didn't happen then.  Which program do you use?

It is my understanding that the "seconds" load the pistols.   Did DC load the guns?

Well, the characters in that ep were Barnabas, Jeremiah, Angelique, Josette and Andre', none of which would have been suitable seconds, and DC would've had to pay any additional actors...

Great photo Midnite. This is the first time I've seen that one. ( I don't even recall it being taken, but that could be alcohol related) :) Would it be possible to secure a copy of it? ;)

Absolutely.  If any other crewmember wants a copy made, please just drop me an email.

I remember when the photo was taken but not who the shooter was!

I was curious about Barnabas and Jeremiah meeting to duel with no one else present.

In all the movies I've seen, they always have "seconds."

Yes!  We must remember to never fight in any duel in which Dan Curtis is footing the bill. ;)

you guys hanging out outside the bar on Saturday night know who you are!:)

Surely you can't mean this motley crew?...

Hee hee!!

I'm looking forward to it, Bette, and wish everyone here could make it!  For the out-of-towners, staying in Ahaheim should be a lot more entertaining than that dreary area near the airport.  And with Disney celebrating it's 100th birthday plus the California Adventure theme park that's new for the 2000 Fest goers, Disneyland should be fun. :)
