Sorry, J!  You type it anywhere you want in your message.  I was referring to the box in my post that the example is in.

Vlad, here's how you can-- When your message window is open, you can see all responses in the topic if you scroll down far enough, so highlight the 2nd quote that you'd like to include, then copy & paste that text into your response, being sure to surround the quotable text with the following[quote][/quote]To attribute the quote to whomever said it, you may choose to type "So-and-so said:" above all that, or you can type thisSo-and-so's[quote]text[/quote]and it will post as:

So and so's

text

You might come up with another way to credit the quote, but however you decide to do it, the preview feature should be very helpful in getting it all to look the way you want.

If my explanation confused the heck out of you, go ahead and cyber-smack me!  Just so you don't do it at the Happiest Place on Earth.

As usual I don't even understand the question.  Is there more than one box that shows the preview?  And I don't scroll to the top, it JUMPS to the top and I have to scroll down slightly to see the pink box!!...?  ?!?

Sorry to confuse you, Raineypark!  Knowing full well that the board is viewed differently on different setups, I should've taken that into consideration when I told you to scroll up.  There is only one preview box, but it should display how your message will look if you were to post it without making any further changes inside the message window.

By the way, I'm seeing it on this message preview!  I guess I'll quit while I'm ahead!!

;DI don't think it was episode two that Louis Edmonds said the hundred feet line. I think it had to be more like episode number 20.

I probably should've spoken up when Gerard called it episode 2, though I can understand where he got that from-- what I said was that it was from David Hofstede's review of Volume 4, and he was talking about the 2nd episode in that volume, which would make it #17.

Also it is a good idea whenever possible to know which episode number a certain blooper is in so we can watch for it more carefully.

I highly recommend Hofstede's DS Video Reviews, Paul.  Episode 139 to the end of the series (and the special releases also) are in book form, and his reviews of the Collector's Series were published in TWODS.  I got both from Kathy Resch, who may still have some of those TWODS left.  David usually mentions the bloopers in each volume, and has a humorous twist on a lot of other things, too.

Are there any upcoming bloopers we should watch for?

BTW...the whole reason I read this topic is because I too had noticed a major slow down (starting about 5-6 days ago).

I don't know what to tell you.  I've noticed the board a little slower with the increased activity (weekends on VNet were slow; now I'm just blown away), but not like what you're both describing.  I do find myself waiting a bit longer for some topics to load, though, if they contain live-action avatars (but I'm not naming names, hee hee!!).

You should check it. Below the forum logo, you'll see "Hey, Patti, you have __ messages."  Click on the word "messages" and see what you find.

Click "Tools" to open the menu
Click "Internet Options"
Under "Temporary Internet files", click "delete files"
Check "delete all offline content", click "ok"
Close it and you're done!

For Netscape:
Open menu under "Edit"
Click "Internet Options"
Double click "Advanced" to show more listings
Click "Cache"
Click "Clear Disk Cache", then "OK".
