Yes.

Per your request I added Scott's name to a notify list 5 months ago.

MB (I think it's you)...where do you get the center drawn pictures for the montage?

Yes, MB creates the montages, and the answer to your question is in "DS Tarot?" on p. 3 of Current Talk IV, also "Today's Montage.....", which is currently on p. 5 of Current Talk.

BUT What the heck happened on FEBRUARY 18TH????    Whew,  after viewing that date I think they should name it a "National day for Birthdays!!"  I've never seen so many people with the same birthday in my life!!

LOL, that's the date the entire forum was converted to YaBB SE.  Since then, the forum address has taken all visitors to a referring page that says, "You might want to make a few adjustments in your profile," and the huge listing for that day is the result of not following the suggestion. ;)

I suppose in some way, says Julia, Amanda was given a second chance at life, and when that chance failed, all trace of her life disappeared--I'm sure all records would show that she died in 1897.

There's a hysterical blooper when she delivers those lines.  You can very clearly hear Julia say, "When that chance failed, all trace of her lice disappeared." [lghy]

From now on, please use the Calendar Events / Announcements board to post all your special events, announcements, notices of Web site updates, personal messages, and well wishes.

And no cross-posting, PLEASE.  Unlike a Usenet newsgroup, cross-posting on a message board wastes space and doesn't contribute to discussions.  It also creates unnecessary work for the moderators. :(

Those links aren't working for anyone right now, Patti.  One way to view your own most recent posts is to find yourself in the Cousins list that's accessed via the Home page.

I can see there is a "cure" and "curse" button on the page. Now, does this mean if one likes what a poster has written, he is suppose to click "cure?"   And if one disapproves or disagrees with what a posters writes, he is to click "curse?"

Only if you choose to do so.  ( ;) to dom)

Quote
Ok, now heres the thing,  I had clicked the cure button for a couple of people, and I noticed that their numbers stayed the same.  For example, I wanted to hit a "cure" button for dom because I liked a post he had written but when I clicked on cure, his karma number stayed the same?

You have to refresh the page to see the updated total.  A few of us appear to have hit the feature's ceiling, but looking into that will have to wait.

Quote
Then when I hit a cure button for a few of the posters, I get a message about having to wait 24 hours??  Does this mean you can only use the cure button one time in 24 hours??

You can only perform the same action on the same poster once per 24 hours.

This is all new to me so please bear with me on this. :-

No problem. :) I know you already read the karma topic that's currently on p. 2 but it might be more helfpul to you now that you're able to use the feature.

I'll miss you Paul.

You coulda been a dad.

You coulda been a good husband.

You coulda fit in.....nah!!!!

You could've revealed who Vicki's parents were.  AAAAA!

Does anyone know why TPTB didn't want Paul's character on?

He left to film the movie "Joe", which was released later that year.  Which led to one of the more ridiculous uses of a photo on the show.

Your title made me think this was going to be a farewell Amanda thread, lol.  I didn't watch the 2nd ep cuz I just didn't feel up to witnessing the stupidity and the whining.  But maybe I'll tune back in on Monday for the infamous peat moss scene. 8)

Or is there another online button somewhere else?

Who's Online in the horizontal menu at the top and bottom of the pages is new.

Regarding the fifth episode on the third disc, episode 397.
When Barnabas has gone upstairs to look for Angelique, Ben and the Reverend are at the foot of the stairs, the screen suddenly goes black with no sound.  All of a sudden it switches back to Ben and the Reverend.  A couple minutes later there is a scene of Barnabas and the Reverend talking and then suddenly the scene very abruptly just shows Barnabas and then just as abruptly goes back to Barnabas and the Reverend.

I don't know if what I described above is from the Master tape or a problem with the disc. Has anyone else noticed this?  If so please advise.

The MPI tape has the scenes exactly as you described them.

In the same episode I described above there is a humorous scene at Jeremiah's grave where his Tombstone reads "Here "Lyes" Jeremiah Collins."  I would have thought that someone in the technical department would have made sure that the spelling of something so prominent in the scene would be spelled correctly.   ;)

That never bothered me because it's an archaic spelling of "lies", so it's not unusual to see "Here lyes... " on markers dating from the 1700s.  The blunder on that tombstone, however, is that Jeremiah's name is spelled "Jerimiah".  :-

tried  by keeps sayin incorrect password? :'(
i think i'm using the right one is it because have different user name than screen?

I apologize for the confusion, but I only brought up your different username because I was trying to find your chat registration-- the EWC listing for registered members is huge.  But now I'm seeing you listed there, so when you're prompted to enter a password (a display screen will say, "Nickname jennifer_srabsdod is registered. Password is required to use it.") it should work, and what you'll see is a welcome on the chatroom screen.  Though the room itself is pw protected, you can still play around with the features and use the Help button.

I wasn't thinking of it as retaliation.  I was thinking more along the lines of it being seen as a way of (perhaps) convincing people who may have been on the fence about the date and location to make the decision to come any way - that is, if they thought there were enough people who may have been upset about it.

Sorry - I don't think I made that very clear in my post.
[nuts]

My fault, sorry, for misunderstanding.  :-
