A large blank space is all I'm getting, even when I move the cursor.

Don't tell me.  Let me guess. It's just an IE thang..... ::)

Ack, I don't see the text in IE either. [undb]

And thanks for an opportunity to show everyone how the new Spoiler Text feature acts. :D

I love it.  On some other posting boards you have to move the cursor around to find the spoilers, and sometimes you find that a large blank space is just a blank space.  If you've been to The Bronze pb you know what I'm talking about.

Well, believe it or not, the writers did research obscure Maine laws for the witchcraft trials that took place on the show. So, they were motivated when the spirit moved them. Unfortunately, it didn't move them often enough. ;)

Don't get me started on how it never moooved them ( ;) to sheenasma) to do any medical research.  How ridiculous was it for Julia, a medical doctor, to hover over a feverish baby Joseph while he's wrapped in a wool blanket?  Okay, so he was the wool blanket, but still...

Interesting.  The only time that I've had any problems lately was yesterday when the forum suddenly stopped responding at around 4:30 p.m. pacific and it came back online about an hour or so later.

I read this post because LAST night (Tues) about 8pm est, I couldn't get on...as in "the page you want is offline/expired"

Hmm...anybody else?

Yes, that's when the forums weren't available, starting at around 7:30 your time.

I wonder though just how accurate these karma numbers are because there have been times when I hit the "cure" button for a post that I like only to have the karma numbers go up two points instead of one like it's suppose to.  This has happened quite a few times with me so Im wondering now if the same thing could possibly be happening whenever someone hits the "curse" button also and maybe this could be the reason why the numbers keep going up so fast.

I just checked the karma settings and there's still a 24 hour wait time for members.  All I can think of, Cassandra, is that someone else has also used the feature between the times you loaded the page and clicked cure.

If it bothers you that much, says Bruno, I'll go take care of him now--remember, "You've got Bruno!" (LOL!) He leaves.

The braids make me a little nostalgic because back then they were available in any length and hair color.  When my sister got married (the first time, hee hee) at around that same time, I wore my hair up with a long braid weaved around the curls.  Wouldn't have touched the bows though, yuck.

But later in the series when LP has those loops of braids sticking out of her head-- now that makes me think of Swiss Miss.

I find it endlessly amusing that she left for the airport at nite to meet hubby in a storm, then returned in the morning sporting a new and complicated hairdo and wearing a pink dress instead of black.  No attempt at continuity whatsover.

Thank you also for the heads up, DStoDA.  Did like that it was recognized as a groundbreaking moment.

But I do agree that it's pretty bad when KLS received more screen time as part of the special's crime fighters of ABC montage when a clip of her episode of Police Squad (the shoot-out with Leslie Neilson - that was KLS' character hiding behind the bench) was shown, than DS received in total. ::)

Hmm, of the DS actors shown, seems Paul Michael was on camera the longest.

if you're after 8am, you might want to check the tv listings.

Thanks, Patti.  Their movie marathon follows DS no matter which US feed you get.

I'm not, like, laughing, but wondering... how do you, um, burn pasta in water?

There are varieties of Aconitum (most often called Monkshood) that will bloom as early as July, but most will not until August or September.  So what are we talking about?  Two transformations a year, at the most?  Maybe only one since this is  Maine after all and the growing season is short?  I know people who get migraines more often than that who would gladly trade for a couple of ¢â‚¬Ëœbad hair' nights a year in a cell.

Further complicating matters is that the original rhyme in the movie (one of my faves!) was "...and the Autumn moon is bright", which matches your description of its blooming period but I'm guessing the writers tweaked it because the scene aired in February (?).

The DS writers must've really liked that movie.  Off the top of my head, bopping the werewolf with a silver-headed cane came from it, and it might've inspired them to choose "Jenny" as the name of Quentin's wife.

Connie, rofl about the magazine cover.  You're the same Connie, CLC, aren't you?  But you are a guest now?   ???

She deleted her own membership.  Until we reopen to guest traffic, to reach her you'll need to contact her off the forums.
