I guess I'll have to buy a Bramwell tape to check him out, he's at the end of the series I think.

stefan,

I'd recommend Vol. #192 as a Best-of-Bramwell (I can't believe I just said that), where he's in 3 of the eps and seduces the heroine.  It takes place before the storyline gets too terribly tedious, JMO, but also won't offer as much spoilerage as later volumes.  Karlen, Barrett, and Parker are very good and it's also a nice tape for Selby fans, but I digress. ;)

But I'm not a Bramwell fan and others may suggest a different volume.  He's in every ep in #195, unless you count the "lost episode" as a no-show; he marries Daphne in this tape, but he tends to tick me off a lot too.  He's also in every ep (all 4) in the final volume in the series, but seeing it first will most likely ruin 1841 PT for you.

Hi, Vlad,

I'm glad you got to see them!  I was surprised too to see that Art Wallace wrote the first two eps.  I didn't see them all but it seemed there was more humor in the subsequent eps.

I probably should mention that the captures are a little deceiving-- though Storm was on camera frequently his role wasn't very big.

[OT - Law & Order fans will recognize James Naughton; he also played Ally McBeal's dad.]

Methinks the filming location was
Point Fermin/Whites Point Beach in San Pedro (?)

Above, that's Roddy McDowall, and I swear the gal on
the far right always looked like she took some happy pills!

Awww, a happy ending.

Hope you had a very happy birthday, Joe!

We may have lost Buffy and will soon lose Angel, but at least there's hope for a new DS!!

The poster who chose to ignore all reminders in this topic that it's about a personal announcement and is not an invitation to share political views not only saw the message removed but has also lost all posting privileges, though it was also due to the fact that the member violated the first 5 forum guidelines in the process.  Hopefully, it's crystal clear NOW that discussions of personal politics are not appropriate in this topic and on these forums.

PS.  I am guessing there was a post on this thread that got deleted?

No.

Now, you suddenly indicate that it's inappropriate.  So, which is it?!!! :)

There is absolutely nothing sudden, mysterious or arbitrary about it.  That board description has always been at the top of the Announcement/Events boards since the first one, and it's been enforced the best we can for ages.

But if you tell me what part of "If the subject isn't personal, it should be somehow DS-related; otherwise the comments need to be taken to private mail or another forum" isn't clear, let me know and I'll try to explain it further.  David's news was personal and (I thought) exciting, but I can't imagine how the subjects of hearing voices, gay marital rights, and Harvey Milk, in the context in which they were used here, can be considered personal or DS related.

I will post the details of the event.

Maybe you could place the writeup on your webspace and post a link instead.  Please?

I'll be sworn in as a San Francisco Deputy Mayor.
I'll be spending the day performing wedding ceremonies, mainly for these loving, lovely, same sex couples.

What fantastic news, David!  You have every reason to be very proud. :D
