I have found a website which talks about this album, even shows the two covers, orange and gray. According to the site, which I believe belongs to Doombuggy, who was a member here, the uncredited voice is the voice of a woman named Laura Olsher.
Go to:

www.doombuggies.com/media_audio.htm    Scroll down to the Thrilling, chilling, etc.  The audio clip included on the website is definitely the voice on MY copy of the record.

Interesting, Bette. Thanks!  The webmaster of DoomBuggies.com goes by the name Chef Mayhem, and I don't believe he's our doombuggy69.

Guess we'll just chalk all of this to Urban Legend.

yendor, no one said that site was the definitive source of articles about Grayson Hall.  And I've heard from a few people that have seen the article in private collections.  If it's located it will be posted, but your comments have gone past the point of being argumentative.

As I stated above, if you're not adding to the discussion with what you have to say, please refrain from posting it or your first official warning will be issued.

I looked there, J99, but I didn't see it.

The discussion in this topic of the voice on the recording is open to anyone who hasn't already shared their opinion about it, or to those who have already posted but have new information to share.  Otherwise, here's the guideline that addresses prolonged argumentation:

these disagreements should not be continued beyond the normal limits of interesting discourse. Argument for argument's sake is not welcome.

That having been said, I checked and don't have the article, but if anyone would like to scan the pertinent section and send it, I'd be happy to type and post it for you.  If you need my personal email addy, please PM me.

For those who have yet to see it, TV Land will be airing Don Briscoe's episode of I DREAM OF JEANNIE on Friday, February 4,

Thanks, Jean-Claude.  It was my first opportunity to see it.

Quote
Don has a brief scene as a handsome, suntanned officer who flirts with Jeannie.

Don Briscoe in a uniform.  Need I say more?

Enjoy!

Not the clearest, sorry, but I suppose they'll do til Season 2 is on DVD.

One thing I liked about Mark Rainey's "Labyrinth of Souls" online DS novel was his realistic depiction of the snow at Collinwood.
Would you happen to know where I can find this online?  I did a google search and couldn't track it down.  Thanks!  :)

The search feature on the forums (our best kept secret ;)) brings up the link to WebBox where Mark most recently had it online, but unfortunately the story is no longer there.  You could PM the author-- Mark Rainey-- or contact him through the website in his profile.  Good luck!

Well, I went to start/all programs, don't see netscape (even though I'm on through there...oh well, no icon). About the browsers MB, just an idle question.

I'm not MB.  ;)  (My stars are a different color because I don't moderate this board.)

Patti, please humor me.  In the horizontal menu at the top of your browser, click Help, then select "About..." in the dropdown menu.  What does it say?

And did you, at any time, right click/delete the Netscape listing after you installed it?

the ep where Barnabas is released,

I see on TV Tome that the one you've described, called "Come Home", is one of Matt Czuchry's episodes.  How cool!

if you would pleeeeeze tell me how to change the desktop icon, so it looks like Netscape greenish

If you installed Netscape 7.2, that icon should already be on your desktop.  Check All Programs in your start menu to see if you did.

can you/Midnite, dom :-*  :-* tell if I'm on here through Netscape or IE or any other server?

You mean browsers, and yes, we could if we chose to look for the information.  Why do you ask?

I thought it would be a good "selling" tool for the DVDs.  People read a transcript and like the idea that there are many more...

I hear you, dsbarnabasfan, and I know you had the best of intentions, but it's a copyright issue, and if sampling a DVD has a potential to impact its sale in any way, good OR bad, then perhaps that ought to be a red flag to not do it.

And thanks, hon!

No I'm not and it doesn't come easy.  Hence the reason I haven't done all of the interviews I've seen so far.  LOL  But I do have one of NB who played Carolyn.  I'll post that one when I capture a pic of her.

dsbarnabasfan,

As enjoyable as these are, with the DVDs on sale and the bonus interviews a huge part of their attraction, I have to say that I'm extremely concerned about offering these posted texts and images from the DVDs and I feel, for your sake as well as this forum's, that no more should be posted for now.  I'm really sorry.   :-

« on: February 01, 2005, 12:19:50 AM »
I just turned on my computer and got a message saying I need to download ServicePack2.

 ???

I hate to say "nevermind" regarding my earlier posts, but maybe those "hotfixes" I downloaded last night weren't SP2 itself.

 ::)

Vlad,

No need to feel bad.

First off, you can turn off the automatic updates to prevent your computer from downloading them without your permission.  And then you won't be pestered to install.  However, this will mean you'll need to check for important updates yourself.

As for SP2, after installing it, links on other sites sometimes wouldn't open, but these are the problems I experienced on dsboards using Mozilla Firefox 1.0:

Message links not opening
Posts wouldn't submit-- "no data" error
Modifications wouldn't submit-- "no data" error
Session timeouts for no discernible reason

Using Netscape 7.2, I experienced all of the above plus the screen froze when trying to send or delete PMs.  Imagine trying to administer with all THAT happening, grrr.  It became apparent that there was no other solution but to uninstall SP2 so I did it this past weekend.  I'm running WinXP with fixes (SP2) plus other updates and having no problems now.  :D

Oh I didn't mean that they had used Tarrytown in particular before.....only that they use real place names, and they seem to research them carefully so that they don't make incorrect comments about the place in the script.

Oh, sweetie, I understood.  :)
