By the photos you posted, in which some are similar to mine, I probably rubbed elbows with you while we clicked away up front!  And just think, I DIDN'T KNOW IT. 

I know what you mean.  Now that I've seen your pics on the Frid list, I do recall seeing you but didn't know who you were at the time.  What a bummer.

I wondered what happened to Mr. Storm. He had a stormy weekend, huh?

Heh, heh.  If you follow the link in the main topic of this thread, you can read about Joe Integlia's meeting with him before the Fest, and the reason the actor gave for missing it.

Does anyone else feel that this was one of the nicest Fests held in recent years?  I thought it had much to offer first timers and veterans alike, and the Festival staff was at their friendliest best.  The location, as expected, had much to offer (several DS fans arrived in time to attend the Dukes of Hazzard pre-show/premiere at the Grauman's Chinese Theater, or took in the local sights) and everyone in my group had a fantastic view of the Hollywood sign from their rooms.  And there was no long line for banquet tickets, yay!

And despite the smaller West Coast crowd, I noticed that in addition to the usual draw of those attending for the first time, there were several fans returning after a multiple-year absence.  It was nice to see Jeff Thompson emceeing.
