what's the difference? I mean i'm a bit confused. i want the entire story NOT just part of it. ya know?

I think I'm a little confused by your question, but hopefully this will help.  The audio dramas are what was originally referred to as DS Reborn.  Season 1, which consists of 4 separate stories, is available at www.darkshadowsreborn.com (which is well represented here on the Forums) as well as www.bigfinish.com.  If you're going to begin purchasing them, I think the first story in the series, "The House of Despair," is a must (besides being the most nostalgic). The 5th CD, The Legend Reborn, is a behind the scenes documentary about the continuation series.  I believe Season 2 is currently in production.

The audio books are 2-part abridged recordings of Lara Parker's "Angelique's Descent." which is no longer in print.

No need to apologize, PennyDreadful.  You can add comments anytime you want!!

Hope you and Garou have a frightfully good new year!

can you buy these sets in stores? OR just on the website?

B.Collins,

The audio dramas are sold through the Dark Shadows Reborn and Big Finish websites and at the DS Fests.  The audio books are more widely available.

O is for "Order in the Court!" which the 1795 judge shouted when practically everybody else in the courtroom started shouting.

Yes, she erred a few times:
she says that Christopher Lee worked with director James Whale & was in the 1948 Hamlet.
Actually, both of those credits belong to Peter Cushing!

Christopher Lee also appeared in Hamlet, albeit in a tiny part.  ;)  (Thanks, Kosmo)

the new NATIONAL TREASURE movie also contains a scene filmed at GREYSTONE. the courtyard is shown as well as the front entrance where vicki arrived as well as a scene inside the mansion.

In the new National Treasure, it's nice to see the actual front doors (seen in the Times article, btw) get used for a change.  Even on DS, the front door to the Old House is on the side of the house that's oppposite the staircase-- oh, the magic of TV.  [santa_cheesy]

Harvey Keitel shows up in it too (again).

(On a side note, though, I think it's way past time for the LA Times to update their photo library. To say those B&W photos of Greystone are DECADES OLD would be an understatement!  [santa_rolleyes])

LOL!  In the print edition, one of the pics is from 1929!

In the Home section of today's LA Times:

SET PIECES: At Greystone, there will be 'Blood' -- and bowling
The article discusses the appeal of Greystone as a filming location, a brief history of the mansion, and its (until now) hidden secret.  Some photos in the print edition do not appear in the online version, and vice versa, but each has at least one shot of the notorious "Old House" staircase.

Who knew that Collinwood had a bowling alley?!  ;)

Thanks, Bette!
