JWGucciEnvy, wow, you've caught up to the Watching Project!  [hello] [_witch_]

Same list, but appearing in an earlier issue:

99. Langley and Phoebe (AMC)

Strangely enough, I found their relationship dynamics to be totally fascinating, but I can't say I think of B & A as a "couple."

Didn't Mrs. J say she could still smell Victoria's scent of lavender when she finally left for good in the show and she and maggie were packing her clothes??  Am I wrong or right?

The first Watching Project reached that ep this past week:
They discuss the fact that Mrs. J took the clothing out. Perhaps a joke, suggests Barnabas, but Mrs. J disagrees. She spots the music box on the desk and demands that Barnabas explain it. Mrs. J is sure "Vicki needs us and is calling to us from wherever she is." She's gone! says Barnabas angrily. Mrs. J suddenly smells the scent of lilac, Vicki's perfume,

When the publication (titles & date unknown) surfaces, David.  I've honestly not heard about it before today.

This has been explained, even recently:  If you provide information so that there's no doubt whom you are speaking about, it's the same as saying the person's name.  For that reason, your post was edited very soon after it was submitted, David.

And actually, there are published accounts that more than a few DS personnel, all sadly gone, were gay.

i believe that the three actors in question here were all out themselves later in life.

I understand what you're saying, but the Forum Guidelines address comments concerning the private lives of DS personnel, and the board admins do not recognize word of mouth as a source for the information.

Modifications were made to posts in the topic because we're not aware that the information exists in a published source, nor if they were documented during a public appearance, but if either applies, the posters are welcome to pass the information along to MB or myself and the edits will be restored to their respective posts as soon as one of us is able.  This has always been our policy and the issue has come up many times before, but we hope posters will understand that MB and I can't know about every book, interview, transcript or article that mentions a DS actor, and please know that in situations where we're not aware of the source, "I read somewhere" can seem very vague to us.

I apologize for not posting a response sooner, but I've been without home phone service for more than 24 hours, though thanks to a cell phone, a slightly charged notebook PC, and an ingenious son I made modifications last evening to a couple of posts in this topic.  mscbryk, I realize that you didn't notice the edits and I'm sorry for any confusion this caused.  My service is fully restored and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Back when Joe was himself, he could not remember why he had behaved so badly - i.e. he couldn't remember his victimization by Angelique.  And I don't think he could remember what happened to Tom, either.  Now that Joe's insane, he remembers what happened to Tom, and that's part of what's making him crazy.  So Chris isn't entirely to blame...but how is that Joe remembers about Tom now?  Is it that the shock of seeing Chris turning into a werewolf burst a door open in his mind?  But apparently he still doesn't remember Angelique.  Very confusing.

Maybe he can recall the part of the conversation he had with Julia about Tom victimizing her (in #619), but he can't remember the rest of it because it directly related to Angelique.  It might explain why he seems to have forgotten that [spoiler]he's the one responsible for letting Angelique into Tom's hospital room.[/spoiler]

David Collins was 9 in 1966.  Henesy was born in 1956.

I didn't look closely at the document but assumed it said "Deed" and was Elizabeth's will.

Ah, I'm sure you're right.  Thank you!

Quote
It's a logical conclusion, but I'm not 100% convinced.  For one thing, in the next episode David and Amy didn't smirk insufferably about Vicky's clothes.  For another, it would have involved a lot of work on their part, bringing the box up from the basement, not to mention sweating anytime anybody walked past Maggie's room.

I don't recall that Maggie, Barnabas, or Mrs. J ever told the kids about the reappearance of Vicki's possessions, so maybe they didn't smirk because they didn't know about it?

I'm thinking that if the writers intended us to believe that Vicki put the dresses back and Quentin, being Quentin, knew about it, and so his ghost advised the kids to act as if that happened to them, I still can't buy that Vicki could orchestrate moving a box upstairs from the basement and putting the contents back in their original location, all while her physical self is in the past. [spoiler]Making a note cross over or opening a music box lid... they just seem like simpler tasks to perform while in another time, lol.[/spoiler]

Very thoughtful of you to do this, DLA75!

Love it, MB!  They really started that year off with a [bang]! The dream was top notch from the acting and stunts to the cemetery set.  And shot on Christmas Eve, no less.  What a fantastic decision to shoot Joe's reaction through the mausoleum gate; MB placed a capture of it in the Robservation thread.

Plenty of eye candy here.  I actually stopped missing Quentin for the duration.

I HATE the rude fate written for Joe (why couldn't he finally buy his fishing boat and head down to Bimini and try [his] luck down there, to quote another Joe Haskell?), but by not killing him off, plus the voiceover suggestion that he [only] "may" be permanently insane, it at least it offered fans an opportunity to rewrite the character's future, perhaps one that includes a reunion down the line at Windlciff with another DS character.

Now I have to ask-- How many identical shirts does Chris have?!

My guess is that the evil tots replaced Vicki's dresses.

Incidentally, is it legal in Maine to bury somebody without having an undertaker involved?

Apparently it is, according to this Maine funeral home site:  http://www.bragdonkelley.com/faqs.htm

However, I'm pretty sure some type of death certificate is required everywhere.  Which is what I assume Barnabas is reading when Mrs. Johnson enters.  It looks like the outer paper might have Dead or Death in black letters; does anyone know if that's what it says?

OK my first question is what does Vicki say to Julia on the Landing. I watched it 4 times and I couldn't make it out. I swear it sounded like I couldn't get hold of Roger, he must of turn his cell phone off. I know that's not what she said, but that's all I could hear. I thought I was watching DS in a parallel room.

Hee hee.  He must have turned his telephone off.  [hall2_wink]
