Thanks, Magnus.  I wasn't sure if that's what you meant.  Here's the post:

I think the best collection available on the web...

Ah.  That really gives me a good idea of the type of images you're looking for.

Was it episode numbers for MB's captures that I gave you?

My deepest sympathy to you, Janet.  And a big hug, too.  What a sad loss.  I'm looking forward to reading Niki's stories.

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Re: Using multiple YABB tags
« on: December 20, 2008, 04:58:50 PM »
Can I do some multiple tags without leaving a "stray" letter/tag on the line?

Yes, and I'm so glad you asked.  Stray tags have been showing up in some of your posts in birthday topics, but if you quote some of those posts that now include an admin note, you can check out the rewritten codes.

When using the code for center (or move), they must wrap around all other codes, like this:

Code: [Select]
TEXT
This is incorrect placement and will cause a stray tag because the bold tags are outside the center tags:

Code: [Select]
TEXT
The same will happen to font, size, or color codes that are written outside of any center tags.  Tags for move also need to be the outermost code.

Also, codes for center (and move) will continue to work for multiple lines of text and images, so it's not necessary to repeat them.  For example, this entire post will be centered using just the one set of center tags:

Code: [Select]
TEXT
TEXT
IMAGE
TEXT
IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE

Since codes for color, size, and bold will not work on images, they were placed after the last line of text.

I hope that helped, and happy holidays!   [santa_smiley]

Yes, exactly.

There's a condition that causes the sudden loss of pigmented hair, pretty much leaving the rest alone in a person that has a mix of both colored and white hair, which makes the hair appear to suddenly go white (or grey).  But with that shock of white hair on Sabrina, this can't be the case.

The evidence strongly indicates that Chris was involved in the event that left Sabrina in a long-term state of shock, and Ned has been living with that reality for two years.  (Can Sabrina feed herself?)

I wonder what Ned could be guessing that Chris did to put her in a catatonic state or possibly knows.  I can't comment on the super sudden white hair because, short of putting chemicals on her hair or radiating it, it's just not possible.  Oh wait, I just did.

It's no wonder he's so unpleasant to Chris.

That's a very kind way of describing it.  What we've seen so far seems more like the behavior of a brazen stalker.

I suppose that, even though I don't like Chris much, he is given a consistent characterization: forever incapable of decisive action.
Good point about his indecisiveness.  But I love Chris, and appreciate Don Briscoe's skills more with every viewing.  And any view of him is something to appreciate, too.   [santa_tongue]

If Angelique had turned Barnabas into a werewolf instead of a vampire, he would have responded differently to the situation from the way Chris did.

With that scenario, at least Barnabas would know the cause of his painful transformations.  Maybe one of the reasons Chris is wobbly is that he's suffering from a huge case of "Why me?"  He's baffled about why they started, why they're now happening randomly, and why someone wants to kill him.  And Barnabas had Ben and later Willie, and Quentin had Beth.  Chris had no one to confide in or help him until Barnabas and Julia came into his life.  Or perhaps he did and eventually ate them.   [santa_rolleyes]

This ep is a huge letdown for me after the last one, but fortunately there's lots there to talk about.

It looked like Roger's gun was on the stairs and nobody seem to care. Or was that my imagination.??

MB chose a capture that's still in the Robservation board slideshow (this ep originally aired on yesterday's date) that happens to show an object resting on the stairs while Liz tends to Roger.  So no, it was not in your imagination.  [santa_smiley]

Current Talk '08 II / Re: The FABULOUS Cavada Humphrey!
« on: December 18, 2008, 06:18:15 PM »
When I went to IMDB just now to make sure her surname did not end with an s (my memory is in tatters these days, alas), I was startled to see that Cavada passed away on July 11, 2007.  Was there an obit posted here?

I don't believe there was, and unfortunately, I located an SSDI (New York) record online for Cavada Kilty who was born on June 17, 1919 and passed away on July 11, 2007. :(  Humphrey was married to playwright/ actor/screenwriter Jerome Kilty, who I think is still with us.

Assuming this is she, it would make her 49 when she played Madame Janet Findley, which seems right, and 88 at her passing.

I absolutely love this ep.  Everything about it is perfection.

The sudden silence and its aftermath give me goosebumps every time.

I keep thinking doesn't david need some attention paid to that burn

Same here.  And it's weird that they switched arms when restaging the scene from the day before.

This was the first of 2 eps written by Ralph Ellis.
