Poor Tessie from New Bedford (doesn't a Forum cousin live there?) had to do the replay without her plum-colored lipstick.  Oh the horror!

There's no sign of a redeemed Quentin here.  The werewolf sought to mutilate her, but it was a human Quentin that left her in the woods, bleeding and exposed to the elements, and that delayed her much-needed medical attention.  The wolf did the mauling, but couldn't it be said that Quentin I-didn't-do-it-it-wasn't-me Collins was responsible for her death?  And as if that's not bad enough, he terrorized Charity to prevent her from speaking about what happened and threatened to kill her if she told his secret.

The presence of a phone on the drawing room table lets us know that a telephone will become important in the ep. (!)  Charity was understandably upset over the idea of marrying Quentin, but the sobbing and hysteria seemed a bit much for someone who is desperate to keep the truth hidden.

And Gregory was suspicious of Quentin's involvement (with good reason!) yet he left him alone with Tessie. [ghost_rolleyes]  I'm guessing that her death was from traumatic shock.  But I'm surprised that no mention was made of a transfusion to replace her blood loss.  (Not that transfusions had been made safe yet, but they didn't even try.)

Charity to Quentin, at the start of the ep:  "I know. I know."
Same people, but at the end:  "You killed her. You killed her. I'm going to tell. I'm going to tell Father everything. Everything."
Charity Trask, graduate of the Redundant School of Redundancy For the Chronically Redundant

In the reenactment Charity is standing right over Quentin and doesn't seem to see him.  The jam faced girl now speaks and says Quentin.

[laughing7] on the jam face.  Both things happened at the end of the previous ep, btw.

Did Nancy Barrett have a "screaming clause" in her contract while she was playing Charity or what?  I swear, everytime she comes on the screen I have to lower the volume so my neighbors won't think something untoward is happening in my house and sic the cops on me!

LOL  This time I let my dog outside first, heh.

Cured of his vampirism, Barnabas must learn to use a mattress in a clip from "Barnabas vs. the Bed."

There was a boom mic shadow on the basement door, the boom mic could be seen near Barnabas' abandoned coffin, and a blur visible behind Magda's head in the drawing room was yanked out of frame.

Magda:  "Barnabas is my friend."
Aristede:  "As well as your enemy."
The birth of the frenemy!

Barnabas "found his instinct" and "had a premonition of danger," yet where were his instincts and premonitions all the other times he could have benefited from moving his coffin?  The man didn't even have the common sense to check his coffin area for pointy pieces of wood!
Jamison/Petofi had an epiphany too-- suddenly realizing that the information he desperately needed was written down somewhere in the Old House.  And it was!  So now he wants to be Barnabas' travel buddy, whereas only a short time before he was quite prepared to stake him.
And going back one episode, Aristede said that Petofi gave CDT his talent in exchange for his soul, though the Count's own time was nearly up.  So if he's mortal, how is it that he can take possession of a person's soul?
Honestly, is anybody buying any of this crap?

Tessie was covered in purple blood that matched both her purple lipstick and the purple trim on her purple dress... It looked less like a werewolf attack and more like a crate of plums had exploded.

Nipple alert!  And Charity's hands went right to touching Quentin's bare chest.  Go, Nancy B!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful greetings!!  They made a delightful day even better.  And that my birthday was designated zombie day in my city added to the fun.  I mean, what could be a more exciting followup to a birthday dinner than a flash mob of zombies?  Yeah, I knew you'd all understand.  [ghost_grin]

I'm skipping the Fest this year and hope the attendees have a great time.

Charles_E, I believe this is what she meant, explained in another topic:
a bus ... It will take you right to the airport where you can get hotel shuttle,  See if that works for your location.

1. Amanda played Quentin's music. It was the first time someone besides Quentin played it.

Jamison sits in Quentin's chair in his room, listening to his uncle's music. "Please," he begs, "don't be dead! Don't leave me alone."

Ack, that one picture of Collinwood has been looking good but now it’s backwards again.

Was it really necessary to have Charity scream twice?  My poor rottweiler can only tolerate so much.

I get the nostalgic aspect of CDT setting up shop in the Evans cottage, but considering how 1897 ends I think it was a huge mistake.

Sy Thomashoff returns from a 3-week absence, and just in time to furnish Petofi's crib.

Barnabas is still being used sparingly; he’s only in the ep long enough to hatch a plan that's doomed to failure.  Magda confronting Petofi’s henchman with a pistol without shooting him on sight?—that’s as harebrained a scheme as any.  And since the moon is full, doesn't anyone care what Quentin is up to?

We learned that while Petofi's spirit occupies Jamison's body, his own body is in a state of suspended animation… somewhere.  And apparently he has taken possession of others many times before!

This was the first time we saw Count Petofi's lair.

Actually, it's the same place (inside an old, abandoned mill) where Quentin was tied up.

Tate's "payment" was yet to be determined.

He gets to be Petofi’s bitch. [ghost_wink]  Seriously, didn't he pay with his soul?

Quote
Tate acted like he didn't believe Charity that Quentin's portrait changed to a wolf. I think he did believe it, though, because of the way he talked to Aristede about it.  [ghost_wink]

Also, right after she told him, he said he was going to get her a drink but poured one for himself first and guzzled it.  Definitely not a good sign.  [ghost_cheesy]
